they will save to desktop, just not with the ctp symbol.

I sent a save to another player, so far no report back

with SMAC I had to alter the ini file from 0 to 1, same here maybe?

UPDATE: I guess the symbol does not mean much. He could play the one I sent. I can not click the file on dessktop to launch into that game
