Any project that involves Davros and his beloved Daleks is bound to be a Civ II classic. Any more details/screenshots/other graphics you can offer Curt?

Curt those Dalek's are even more incredible than I was anticipating. Have you decided whether the scenario will take place on Skaro in the midst of they're civil war with the Thals or will this take place during the Dalek invasion of earth? I'm personally hoping you go with the invasion of earth option but either way this can easily be the best scenario of '05.

So the human player will be the Dalek's then eh? Well thats surprising but it would be fun to solidify the Dalek's hold on earth. Will the map be simply London then or all of Britain?

If the helmet wearing horsemen seems too out of place, one of these two Atlantean horsemen might fit the role better.

Now Curt I have a question for you regarding the Tryany of the Daleks. You say the Dalek's will have to deal with a number of enemies in the human resistance, including of course everybody's favorite Time Lord the Doctor himself.
Now my question is about the issue of regeneration. I seem to remember you hinted earlier that the Doctor can regenerate into the next Doctor if the Dalek's defeat him. Is this true? If so, will we see regenerations all the way up to the Christopher Eccleston or David Tennant actors?

I always thought a conflict between the Cybermen and the Daleks would be a good metaphor for the war between the Soviets and Nazi Germany. The Cybermen believing in cyber-conversion of they're enemies into fellow Cybermen where as the Dalek believe in nothing more than they're own total supremacy over all other living and mechanical beings, and we all know how the Dalek deal with what they perceive as inferior.....
Finally, sorry for the deluge of Dalek and Doctor questions Curt but as a fellow Doctor Who fan I can't help the curiosity. I can't wait for whatever surprises wait around the corner in this scenario.
Also, thanks for the Atlantean compliment my friend! |
Hey!
I am honoured that you take an interest!
And the compliment for the Atlanteans is deserved, they rule!
I too am a big fan of the classic era of Doctor Who, and while some may argue that the Cybermen
and Daleks never met in open warfare (as far as I know), we all know how much fun it would be to
have these two nightmarish baddies go head to head!
As for the actual Cyberman plot...Well, who knows? As always, they will have a
mysterious plan! The most likely motive is their desire to plunder humans for
cyber-conversion, and this may bring them into conflict with the Dalek Empire...
When a planet like Earth is invaded, all manner of pillagers may try to profit...
And sometimes, some very important visitors may arrive to oversee the occupation!

Curt the new units are just fantastic. I'm tempted to ask more in depth questions as every time I ask one you seem to release another amazing unit.
Anyways, this little compelation goes out to Uncle Dead Bird once more. This is simply to ensure that the Atlanteans have any and all means of military combat covered that you could possibly imagine in the ancient world. Below is an Atlantean Archer, a Stonethrower, a corrected Officer with a trident in hand, a Chariot and a Camel Rider. I realize the last two units are a bit of a stretch, especially the camel rider, but since this is the realm of fantasy I thought what the hell .

what about atlantean ships, and seige artillery? i realize you would probably just use a trimene or catapult in there, but that's not very imaginative...
