A point of order needs to be discussed.

Clearly AM have a Horseman Army. If this Army was built by an MGL generated in battle, the generation of the MGL should have been disclosed as it is part of a battle result.

Of course, if it was built by an SGL, no such disclosure is necessary.

I therefore call upon AM to state categorically that the Army was not built by an MGL, or if it was, which particular battle resulted in the MGL being generated.

Naturally, I also call upon all other teams to disclose if they have generated an MGL through battle, and which particular battle(s).

The Desolation Row has not, thus far, generated any MGL's from battle.

You never see when the opponent gets a military leader, so why should I report it? I'm giving information that would be visible for the other team if they were playing against an AI

Khan is Bulgarian for leader. Probably has something to do with how the Real Life (TM) Mongols invaded the Balkans and influenced the language.

Generally you can see when the AI gets an MGL.

I would also go so far as to say that if a team receives an MGL in defence, it should be disclosed in the Battler Reports thread.

Again, the production of an MGL is an integral result of the battle and should be disclosed.

We all have a right to know if there are MGL's or Armies floating around out there as a result of battles.

Um, actually if an MGL is generated by the defender that is in a city, the attacker will not know that the MGL has been generated.

So, either we go ahead and say that only MGLs generated by attackers are mentioned, as the ones generated by the defenders are not none about until either the stack that they are in is obliterated or are used to make an army, or we just forget about reporting them.

Yes, that's true, but IMHO it's mere semantics.

I think MGL's should be disclosed. And I think it's fun (remember that concept?) that we all know

Of course. We want to know who we´re messing with. Propaganda is much more effective if it´s personal, and having an ingame-character for that is much better than having to concentrate on team members

What happened when you moved that 1/4 horse to 66 of Tarren Mill?

You destroyed our iron colony. The defender, which is us, would have seen that happen if this was SP, and so you should have included it in the battle report.

Yes. Both MGLs and destroyed colonies should be reported.

1) ANY action by a military unit beyond simply moving it should be reported. Bombarding, pillaging, even being hit while passing a cavalry or whatnot should be reported.

2) FULL results of any military skirmish should be reported. It is true that the AI does not give you full results - by not necessarily announcing GL production, and by not necessarily announcing promotion when you can't see the city you were attacking following a loss. That doesn't mean we need to be held to the AI's or the game's shortcomings; after all, that's why we're reporting in the first place.

This is not a regular PBEM - and thus we should follow the strictest standards of battle reporting here. If this were Iron Civer, I'd suggest using 3.1...

But I'll report such things in future. It's no big deal to do that, I just thought, that because it didn't involve units AND that the Unit in question, was still on it, that it would be self evident as to what had happened.
