Well the thing is that in the baltics nazis were seen as liberators from the soviets according to media. you can even say batlics hated communist russia more than nazi germany. I think that very well coud lead to even governments making mistakes about that, if the people are so inclined.

I'm surprised you haven't heard anything about it though. It had its one minute of fame, that news item on TV
