Okay, here is the deal. I'm making a random opponent and we are taking in Sparrow. I'll type up ten turns in a spreadsheet for this randon opponent (The numbers will not be random, this will not be a cakewalk), and I'll draw names to determine matches.

But on to the first order of business, while I sort out the new rules. I'll go ahead and finish the match between Doc and Kassi. Please refresh me with you WA stats and send in your orders. Were we at 100 a piece?

Finals: Resurrection 3: Round 1

The two opponents eye each other suspiciously. Doc makes the first move and swings his weapon at Kassi's head. The tip of his sword makes contact and rips out a chunk of meat and skull fragments from just above Kassi's right eye (45pts of damage).

Kassi was thrusting his sword into Doc's stomach, but the blow from Doc caused him to miss his target, and he ran his sword into one of Doc's ribs with a heavy thunk. His sword continued forward and opened a nice gash under Doc's outstretched arm (20pts of damage).

Doc amazes the crowd by just standing still in front of his opponent. Kassi raises his sword high above his head and plunges it down towards Doc's head. Doc waits until the last possible moment, lifts his left arm up, and catches the blade of the sword in his hand, completely stopping the progress of the sword. Unfortunately, some remnants of Doc's fingers continued on along the path of the sword and rolled up into little bloddy sand worms when they finally came to a rest (20pts. Damage).

While he was holding onto Kassi's weapon, Doc Started another vicious swing aimed at Kassi head. Kassi managed to pull his sword free of Doc's grip and raised his shield to block Doc's blow. Then he remembered that he did not have a shield, and Doc's slash cleanly sliced Kassi's arm off right above the elbow, blood pumping freely from the open wound (45pts of damage).

Kassi dropped and spun his weapon at doc's knee and the weapon struck home finding bone. It was stuck in the bone for a second as Kassi almost lost his grip on it, but he regained his composure and his weapon and backed away (20pts of damage).

Kassi has 10 points remaining.
DrSpike has 40 points remaining.

They circle each other and both make weak attempt to hit. The offensive moves are so lame that each is easily dodged.

Kassi moves in for a power blow, but telegraphs it quite a bit and Doc nicely moves out of the way. Kassi leaves himself open for a love tap from Doc and slumps to the ground.

Doc (unfortunately) is the whinner again.

Not sure of Spaced math, but I count 6 players without counting me, do you know something the rest of us don't?

It seems to me that 8 players is the way to go if no round robin, else even if DrSpike plays the winner it would have to be after 2 rounds had passed (4 playoff leaving 2, 2 playoff leaving 1 opponent for DrSpike).

I missed LJ, but I'm still in favor of using a predetermined opponent against someone, by draw, to fill in the last spot.

However,

I have a small issue. I'll be on another one of those business trips, this time to Budapest, and will be out of commision from June 5th to June 11th (tenatively scheduled, could be another week in June), so I can start this, but there might be a delay.
