Relief is slowly moving your way Great prince. The assault on the vile city of Leptis Magna continues. We have now destroyed a total of 1 swordsman and 1 spearman. The city seems now solely defended by a single spearman. The brave Arab Immortal regiments have faught valiantly. Only one is slightly wounded. With luck, the infidels will fall this coming turn. We will then turn our efforts on a new Sumerian city just founded near the coast.

It is our great hope that although we cannot break through to help directly that we can provide some relief by drawing units from our brother's lands.

The name of Trajan is being praised by all Arabs! Our people know that the mighty Romans will not falter!

We have 5 horse, two immortals and a warrior that will be in position to strike hard at Carthages rear in 7 turns. We pray that our Celtic brothers will be victorious in defending their great lands and that they will then be ready to take the fight to the Elephant people.

Arab scouts continue their search for a second iron source. It is our goal to be able to provide this most valuable resource to our Roman brothers should the Celtic supply lines be cut.

Several of our lads got together and worked like crazy creating and erecting a massive bust in the likeness that we think a Great Roman Leader would look Please know we mean no disrespect if the bust is not a good likeness. The Bust has been erected in a new part of town, right where the main parade gropund of our new barracks will be Your great leader will inspire our new trainees for a great many generations

The seige of Leptis Magna continues. The Cathaginians had sent a reinforcement force of 1 archer and 1 swordsman. The Immortals were obliged to dismiss them. Both regiments are now out of position for an assault on the city itself. Several Horse regiments are riding hard across the desert to reach the Immortals so that they may conclude their task at Leptis Magna. It is hoped that they will arrive before the enemy can hire any more of those dreaded mercienary fellows.

Domestically, Public Works reports that another segment of the Iron Road has been completed. Soon House of Arms will have a path to the Capital and the production of Swordsmen can begin.

All the Arab people have great joy in the courage of our brothers so far away. We send our warmest wishes and strongest hopes that your peoples will come through this time of trial even stronger than they went into it. We lament the fact that we are so far away as to be of little use in assisting you.

Iron spotted some way from our borders and right outside the Incan lands.

Operation sieze source is now in the planning stages and Trajans army will be sent forward to sieze and claim this resource for Rome.

It will be some time before our roads will reach this resource but at least we now have a target to achieve.
