Magnus, the only reason you want to continue is your in the lead with 60 cities. Youve already taken advantage of the system by intentially grabbing as many cities as you could to reach the limit with an unfair advantage, then your persued a campigian of bribing cities for Capos sub. Quite frankly for all your dedication you were underhanded and not very fun to play with. Im glad you want to continue systematically bribing a someones subs cities, but im not having any fun, nethier is anyone else.
-----

I did never start a war.

I did not start buying others cities.

I did not start the war with the capos sub.

I always tried to play the game in a peaceful way, But the capo first started a war, by buying one of my cities, then i bought it back, and a few more as a compensation.. ; He should not have started something he could not finnish.. It was his fault, not mine..! I wanted peace, he wanted war, ..he got war. Then when the sub was taking over, I had already planned a mass buying of europes cities.. ..i played this game "the capo way".. the fact that the sub was playing did not matter; capo would have lost those cities no matter what.

..And, yes, of course the fact that i was leading was a part of me wanting to continue this game; i could have won. I think it is wrong with not finnishing a game; stopping playing just because one is beginning to loose. ; and, now, because i was leading, i may not say so?

..btw.. i had 69 cities (70 if you count the one i lost to the barbarians exactly before we ended).

The reasons for quitting were stated above, none of which included you winning.

As to you wishing to be declared victory, here.

BY THE POWER INVESTED IN ME BY THE WORLD DIPLOCOUNCIL

You are hereby declared winner of Ultimate Diplogame Magnus. You are God. We pale in pathetic comparison to your amazing abilities of manipulating the city cap to your advantage. May we shudder in your greatness.

Where exactly should I send your complimentary Can of Spam you got for winning?

..i did not win! ..i was in a good position to win, yes, but i did not win.... ...and the number of cities isnt all what counts! You can have a few, advanced, cities, like drake, and still "win".

I have NEVER said i was better on civ than anybody. I just said that i had a changce of winning in this game, wich i also believe that i had..

for the first weeks, before we reached the city limit, noone complained about my dedication, like chris here now, but now, after the city limit, and then after me taking a few cities by diplomats (wich i did not start doing), people complain about my way of playing civ, and my dedication. i think that is not nice.

..and i have NOT won... !!

(..what sucks is that if the capo would have conqured the middle east, and chris would have gotten my cities in persia; then we would probably still be playing that game.. , right?)

Your inability to comprehend written words is disturbing. I realize english is not your first language, so let me reiterate

The game was boring

For weeks I have not enjoyed it

I had told this to Capo and Drake already

They convinced me to stay

I did for their sakes because they were posting and making an effort

The game continued to suck

The turns got longer and longer

Then Capo quit

Then Drake quit

Oh my, such fun

Now please, for the love of god, try not to be a simpleton.

How about we just leave it at that? Arguing about it seems kind of pointless......

that being said, Capo and Chris are right.....if the game has lost it's fun for the majority of the players, it should be ended.

Magnus- just leave it.......there will be other games.

Put an end to popups!

I did not argue for continueing the game in the second post on this page, I already know, and knew, it was "over"; i was discussing this post, wich i think was rather "disturbing" and partly non-true;

(the first post was my first and ONLY official "protest" against the ending of this game, the second was about the above quoted post, so, drake, i have already "left" it)

Got spare money?

Alright look, let's just drop the issue now.

Magnus you are a good Civilization player, your tribe was the strongest when the game ended and you should be proud of that accomplishment.

Chris, I know, but its over so its over.

Okay, I'm finished talking about this game forever.

Peace.

Ravens are taking it home!!!
