It's certainly possible to do so, but it takes some skill ...
I will attempt to guide you through it - but I'm not 100% sure I will be successful (though I can ensure you don't *break* anything, at least.)

Emailed. I had to assume he was using Civ 3 and Civ 3 Conquests (separately), as that's what I have. If he is using Civ3-Complete, my solution won't work (probably), as I presume they have registry differences. They may not, of course, I have no idea.

If he is using complete, either someone with Complete can send him the reg files directly (same instructions, just slightly different files), or you can contact me and I can mediate the correction.

the 3 reg files is exactlly what i hoped for some1 could get me - i got some experience using regedit - so i ll give it a try gimme 10 hours time till tonight - the only problem i can see arising is that i got german version

Yes, directly.

I'm not sure about the germain version, though, I didn't see anything language related. It depends i guess on whether the CD contains the language determiner, or if all CDs contain the same lang files and the registry is where language is determined, and it just defaults to English. It certainly looked like they were using minimalist registry modifications ...

my lonly warrior scout was able to have some nice picknicks at lovly river sites where he could melk cows to make the lunch even more lovly on his long journey

hm, I wasnt sure what to do:

I had Rex ´s settler open!

In 1. version I killed and eliminated rex
in 2nd I did juts do nothing

i m not sure what to do - somhow rexs situation is useless anyway, but if he want to go on instead wasting 2 month of playing time now i d be k with too
His move looked like a missmove somehow

btw i moved 1 of the captured workers on road so that it was visible to japs - moved it back

my 1. version is elimination! if rex dont say anything go on with it

tommy, I don't understand why you have two versions. You aren't supposed to reload and play a turn unless you have a good reason and let the other players know about it. Are you simply trying to show PRex some mercy?

Rommel, excactly I had a good?? reason and did let others know.

the thing is that rex could have defended settler with warrior - so i thought proly missmove and i wasnt sure what to do

here is the short story


after many turns of my city not growing, due to such a lovely view.

I decided to pull in my workers and make a settler and move to a more lovely spot.

My city did have a warrior in it when I clicked on abandon city, that unit must of been needed to complete the settler.

beeing this is iron civ, a fast acting warrior dispacthed my unprotected settler
