In the county where I live, even mobile homes cost around $100K. On top of that, you cannot get huricane insurance if you own a mobile home. Why would any fool sink that kind of money into something that's uninsurable?

Guess I'm not buying a house here, at least not until I make a lot more money.

doesn't look like it's hitting Florida at all. More likely Pascagoula, Mississippi. I used to live there. As I was stationed at the navy base there. They got hit last year too.

Itn't not always where the eye hits that gets hit hardest. Ivan's eye struck Alabama, but is east Pensicola that got clobbered. Florida is gonna take the worst of the flooding and tornado activity.
