Frankly, the prosecution, imho, didn't run a good case. Furthermore, I honestly don't give a damn if Jackson did it or not, even though I'm leaning in the direction that he didn't. The man's unfit to raise children, but he's never, so far as I know, done anything to intentionally harm them.
On the other hand, if he weren't rich/famous, and charges like this were brought up, I'd be willing to bet my left hand that he'd've been sent to the slammer to be made White Power Bill's little *****.

I admit that I've forgotten a lot about the details of her trial, but what happened to the broker? She was accussed of using inside information to make a profit on stock trading right? Her broker gave her the information, yet got away scott free. It seems to me that his crime was the greater. It's like having a drug dealer rat out his customers and letting him go free.

If you receive "inside information" and make money from it I'm certain that you can be held legally culpable, at least for conspiracy. What I heard was that the broker offered the information to her. IIRC the broker made a bargain with the government to get off if he testified against her.
