Uh, why? Why don't you just stay with her?

I mean, even if you want to be independent, you two can split the rent or something, so you save nicely every month.

Lose 30 kilos (of popups)

I would get some adjustable dumbells and a gym membership.

To get huge, you'll need to work your legs, and you can only do so much of that at home. So, I'd be investing the money in the gym and food.

space, you can always try to see what you can get from thrift shops and factory outlets, esp. the latter. They often have good items at a fraction of the regular price.

Space - if you watch sales you should be able to cut the price for the weights/work bench in half. Also check if they have them accessable at the community college you will be going to, if so, hold off so you don't have to lug them around.

Get one nice set of clothes, including a good pair of pants/dark jacket or blazer/tie (always easy to get at thrift stores - often the same for jackets/shirt for interviews. You know, so you can get a better job eventually.

dude, don't go buying that stuff at this point. Save your money. You can pay for membership at good gyms for that money. And they got more than bench pressing happening. Not to mention, if you want to work out, do not go for bench pressing and some jogging. That's not the way it works, believe me. In fact, now we see how much respect you have towards me. I offer you my free advice, that you should take. Don't buy it. Buy it later if you still want to. IF you want to get into shape, or from shape into better one, you are wasting your money with this. I mean it. It's just like burning the benjamins. It's just as good, I'm not just saying this.

If you have 200-300 to spend, depending what you want, you either get membership from gym, or you boost it up with talking to personal trainer who knows their stuff, if you have goals. Yeah it costs, but you'll be doing the right thing, and believe me, most everyone is doing the wrong thing who aren't like regulars etc with long experience. It doesn't matter if you want to lose weight, gain weight, gain muscles or what ever, you need to go to the gym, and you need to do more than bench pressing, and if you must leave something undone, then it's the bench pressing . It's not that important. Really. It isn't. It's like if you want to jog 10 miles, why would you walk backwards doing it?

Now take my advice, save your money and spend it on the better deal, OR spend it on something else completely, or just.. save it.

People are also constantly selling weight sets. The classified ads and E-Bay are a good place to find them. If you have a truck, most people are just looking for someone to pick them up.

I had someone do this when I moved, I just GAVE them the weights if they agreed to do all the moving.

I repeat, don't get that stuff to your place the first thing you do. There's more involved than lifting some weights. It's science man.. the best way to spend it is to get a GOOD program you follow, and then someone showing you how to do the techniques PROPERLY, so you still have functioning back or what ever after few years. Just shut up, sit down and take this advice. This is the best one you will get.

Full PM-box? Change here!

and another thing, when you have that program made for you (custom), and you got the technique down meaning you can properly execute the program, and you follow your advancing and all that stuff, and also have nutrition program for you (meaning you are doing everything right -> getting results), then you might think if you want to start building your own private gym to your place. I'm not saying folks in here are stupid, I had bench too at home few years ago. But just believe me, if you are into getting shape or into learning working out, because there is learning to be done, then that's not the best way to start. Just like everythign else, get expert advice, start, check it up with expert again, follow the plan perfectly, don't make up your own rules to cut the corners, and I promise you that you will be in way to superstardom. The reason why 99% fail, is because they simply just make up their own rules, cut the corners, do the wrong things, save money in the wrong places and spend it on wrong things. Like I said, it's science. It's simple. If you do it wrong, it won't work, period.

If you don't want to spend money on a program, there's plenty of forums on the internet that has experienced people on them. Do reading, learn nutrition, learn working out, READ. And no you can't do it in one night, but if you start tonight, you're already on your way understanding it, and use the internet forums and find reliable forums and posters and make your own program and show it to them. They will give you advices. So you can do it for free also, but as far as techniques in the gym goes, have someone show you. Trust me, it'll pay off.

Maybe, but I don't have any information about Space, height, weight, what is his knowledge about eating etc, what is his daily routine as far as working goes, what days can he work out, what hours etc. What his goals are etc..

And no I'm not too qualified to make a program for him. BUt I can review when he gets one and suggest changes or OK it with a strong IMO stamp on it.

And yes there's lots of information to be done but it's not that difficult at the end and if you want to do it, why do it half assed when you could do it properly. It'll prolly take the same amount of time, and once you have learned the hoops it'll be more fun more likely and most of all it'll be good working out. Do it for yourself man. You deserve to have it. Just make the commitment.
