Have glanced at the link - I'm a little confused here (I read the FAQ). You aren't supposed to turn anyone down, but at the same time unless you are bisexual you are going to get accosted by a member of the wrong sex, i.e. they don't turn you on at all. So how are you supposed to sort out the preferences - calling it preferences is misleading, because well if you are a guy and aren't into guys, then you may well find it revolting, and trying to perform when revolted is oxymoronic? The site recommends checking out the local scene to see which way it leans, i.e. is it mostly gay or hetero's that are greenlighting, but that still doesn't deal with the fact you will always have some contrary orientation on the scene. Or do I really not get it having been dating/married to the same lady for over 15 years?

Me thinks that if you're into this sort of thing, you don't really care about anything but the quick fix.
I'm sure that if a dog would happen to - what's the term here - "collar" them, they would **** it right there and then too.

A good 'ol boy (redneck from out on the farm) from North Carolina once told us this story. The extra letters are an attempt to immitate the dialect, you also need to stretch out the words to double a normal person's speech pattern.

Redneck : "Yuh knowh, the fuhst time Ah evah fuhcked ah gurhl, her mohm whas whatchin."

Me (stupidly falling for the straight line, in shocked tones) : "What did she say?!"

I was referring to the greenlighting thing being like free love, not barebacking. Hippies had promiscuous sex with all comers too, but they didn't have to look stupid with their collars sticking up.

The wristband thing, afaik, is mostly popular among middle schoolers in certain parts of the US...I heard about this over a year ago (it might have been here on Poly), but it specifically involves "jelly" bracelets, which are color-coded for sexual favors. One kid wears a number of colored bracelets, and if another kid manages to snatch one off his/her hand, he/she is obligated to give a blowjob/handjob/something like that, depending on the color of the bracelet. It might have just been a stupid rumor though, or they could be talking about something entirely different here.

Would that be a game where many people are required bracelets, or is it more a choice of the bracelet wearer to delcare themselves somewhat willing to serve?

IIRC Gays used to use hankerchiefs the way before, semi-folded hanky meant "I'm ready" (or something like that).

I thought that "green light" was a kid's game. You know: 'green light"............."red light"...."green light". It really saddens me that an innocent childish game of fun has been turned into some sort of Soddomite tryst. Where will it all end? Gosh, I just hope they're not recruiting little kids or that the adults don't get confused and think that the kids are playing the same game. That would be just awful.
