easy to say in Canada. Come where I live and attempt to live without A/C.

yes people did it in the old days. But as I've said before, they didn't have the heat island effect. The nightime temps actually dropped below 90, and you could open the windows.

It was nice last weekend though. It only got into the 90's. Sure we had high humidity. But I'll take the humidity over the heat anyday. It was nice to finally get some rain.

And I'll take the heat over the hudidity any day. It was only 35% humidity today (during hottest part of day). Not particularly uncomfortable.

Is much worse when it's 85 and 75-80% humidity. Becomes unbearable then...

Life is so unfair, you guys are all having great weather while I'm freezing... and the weather for the next week is even worse than today, it's been a few weeks since it was nice hot outside and then it was only for a few weeks

Outside it's "ok" as long as the clouds doesn't hide the sun*, but inside it's cold (almost no sun gets in)

*And at the moment there's huge clouds out there, it was better a few hours ago

Dead Ducks Suffering from ads?

17 ducks were found dead in a lake in the San Fernando Valley, north of Los Angeles. More were sick.

It was feared at first that they had been poisoned.

It turns out that the algae they were feeding on turns toxic in prolongued hot weather.
