1st bathroom: an obvious must have.
2nd bathroom: the downstairs bathroom.
3rd bathroom: private bathroom for master bedroom.
4th bathroom: basement bathroom.

So what's the 5th one for?

My current house has 2 bathrooms (and is valued at $500,000, damn those crazy DC area land values).

My parents house (much cheaper than the house I rent in) has 4. Its a nice house.

Like many have pointed out, much of the new construction -- at least in the US -- has more bathrooms than bedrooms. Despite it all, having 4 bedrooms is pretty ordinary, and therefore 5 bathrooms isn't too far out of the ordinary. We're not even talking McMansions, which are proliferating in the burbs and are larger still.

It couldnt possibly be 5 FULL Baths, I bet atleast 2 of these are 1/2 Baths. Give us the ADSACT count of Toilets, Sink, Bathtubs and shower stalls in this house.

As for MS Vista, I couldn't care less as I wont be buying it and predict most other people wont be either. When Publishers start to release significant numbers of games in native Lunix versions MS is through.

If I was them I would have just keept the name LongHorn, its already well known and dose sound kind of nice, Vista sounds completly boring and "safe" hense why a dozen other companies already use it.

It's a half-bathroom on the 1st floor.

1 is my parents. 2 is mine. 3 is my little brothers'. 4 is the basement. 5 is 1/2 on the 1st floor.

Here in Knox county we have about 1 dwelling for every 2.3 residents. In the US, the ratio is slightly worse - one dwelling for every 2.45 residents.

For the country as a whole, single family residents vastly outweighs multi-family units by a 76:24 ratio.
