Well, logged in with lynx. Same result and I accepted every cookie that I was asked for to accept. Well posting this with lynx is not not so easy but possible.

you're not behind a proxy are you? |
Difficuilt question. I don't know whether my university is behind a proxy. But in order to use one of the windows computers there from home remotely I have to log into the network of my university. Possibly that looks then I would like use an proxy. However in my opinion it is like I would sitting physically in front of the computer I use remotely.
Oh and here are my cookies I have in my Mozilla at home:
bblastvisit
sessionhash
popcount
bbstyleid
As far as I know sessionhash should identify me.

Yes, it is set, when you log in, provided you set the following option in your profile to yes:
Automatically login when you return to the site? (uses cookies)
This option is set to No in my profile usually, because methinks it is very unpleasent to see laying around my username and password on a computer that I don't own. In the case of my university I own at least the account I use. By the wy I am sitting in front of such a computer. However there might be the case that one don't own even the account of the computer that is uses e.g. internet cafes. And I remember that we had reports of such cases in the forum here that someone returned to the forum and was logged in as someone else.
[EDIT]Question removed, I figured out the answer on my own.[/EDIT]
Now I see that the problem does lie at the side. There are three possibilities to fix the problem:
Use sessionhash instead of bbuserid.
Or, well the more unpleasent way to fix it to me, update the manual accordingly. (You have to be registered and looged in and you have use the option ... )
And the third possibility ... well a PM about that would be more appropiate.
