BTW, I'd like to add to the anti-allied defense with something that crossed my mind while deciding on orders.

I decided not to do it - or I wouldn't be posting here ... but it would work beautifully under the current rules. Too close to cheating in my book.

ORDER: Allied Defense Spiffor/Jonny, OOB LLT-TFF, etc. ...

It's the perfect order for this situation. Jonny's not going to use that OOB, so it's worth an attack, if he doesn't attack me; and if he does attack me, my ships make it back safely, to defend against his attack.

The only thing I can think of to eliminate this, and keep AD if you want to keep it, is to remove the "attack" provision of allied defense (incorrect OOBs no longer cause an attack on the defendee).
