Hmmm. More interestingly, it seems that those teams with goals for/goals against ratios significantly far from one (either direction) had substantially less fights.

s = abs(1 - r)
f = fights
correl(s, f) = -0.3347

So shittier teams would do well to fight more (reducing the advantage a more skilled team has) whereas more skilled teams should fight less (increasing their advantage).
