Totally reduced productivity by having a small-download game that is horribly addictive and quick to play (thus you can think it's okay as it's not that long... but you play too many games)

i love tetris.....

I know. I've been playing the old Magic: the Gathering game (the Microprose version) for a while, and let me tell you its even worse. But its fun nonetheless!

sometimes you can have too many cards in a hand - i haven't quite worked out the balance yet, but having lots of cool cards to play can mean you wait ages to get them, by which time your opponant has slammed you down. Still in my longest game, i have got quite far - lots of Health; so i can usually take a fair bit of damage while i build up for a crushing attack. I Still dont like those dungeon quest things - they can be real tough, lots of dragons and other nasty beasts to defeat!

I have created and fine tuned an army in Hoplite which is nigh invincible, although it's has only a 180 total quality.

Now you have your own personal guard. Urban Ranger's Fedayins. I never tried to create an army

I named it after the legendary Sun Tzu Last night I beated up a bigger army.

Creating your own army is good fun, since you get to try to see which mix of cards works best for you.

Surely if it is a good game all armies should have weaknesses.

Tired of ads?

I am sure we do

I don't use skimishers because they are totally useless once the enemy's cavalry shows up. I use a bunch of light infantry units with missile capabilities for that. Then mix in some heavy infantry units, light cavalry units, and heavy cavalry units.

I had the revalation that "cohesion quality" is the same as hit points and size is the same as strength. A size 10 unit fighting a size 2 unit has 5 column shifts in its favour, thus an equal fight becomes a rout instead. So, I just make my units bigger. That did the trick.

The advantage of the online version is accessibility of the cards you need. Buying loads of cards from the official store gets expensive fast, but you can trade in-game for some pretty good prices. Which has the added advantage of getting the cards you want, rather than a random selection. For casual play, that's probably the best approach, although it means that you'll pay more for any of the rare cards that everyone wants. I play unusual decks with junk rares and bulk commons, sell on any really good cards that I get, and don't play white or blue, which cuts down the "get all the new cards" factor. It's probably cost me about $250 in two years, I think.

(edit/ in one year . I have to cut down)
