I used to have hair that long too. Had it for years. Eventually I felt like a change...funnily enough my political compass began swinging to the right about that time...

Opportunity knocked. I've been wanting my hair gone for years now, but the wife wanted me to keep it. I thought I was gonna miss it, but each time I look in the mirror, I ask myself why I didn't do this years ago. The worst part of the long hair was that some of it was too short to get to the pony tail, that always kept sticking out any old way. No matter what, I always looked a little scruffy. Now, when you live in a rough neighborhood, that's a good thing. No one wants to mess with a biker. When you're on an interview, it's a bad thing.
Heck, I look like I'm under 30 now. 
The only niggling thing is that when I put on a shirt, I still reach back to pull my hair out, and of course, there's no hair to pull out.

! I met someone who said he was chegitz, but while the long hair was the other, the other was lacking indeed! You should call the police!
