GUYS...GUYS
What is this crap? Posting turns sent
with no M.Y.???? I thought it was
clearly understood that we would all
conform.
Vendetta on you two!
Have a good weekend.

I received the Spartan turn by mistake. I have requested that Kent re-check and send correct turn. I had to escape from the password screen. This may trigger cheat warnings at some point.
Did someone jinx this game or what?

Sorry guys, first shot at sending the game on, I forgot to hit TURN COMPLETE before saving (come on, its been a long time since my last turn, Ive had a beer since then!)
Anyway, turn 2134 sent to Believers last night with the correct ending.
Goob, you are correct, I have pcAnywhere to home. That,in fact is where I play SMAC, I just have it sent to my work e-mail cuz I check that constantly, except for weekends (unless I dial in). I rarely check my home email cuz I use my work one extensively. I suppose when my turn is being sent to me, would it be difficult to get it sent to my work and home email?

Turn Complete
Questions!
1. How can I tell if I have had legal contact with others in the game? If I see borders does that mean contact has been made? Please advise.
2. Where did all the ECs come from? So early in the game!
3. How the hell could one faction have built two(2) secret projects already!!!!!!!!!
What is the name of this planet anyway? wienyworld? Did Aredhran design this? That R H better RUN b4 i A slap him!
$&^&*@$#%%&*! Blah!
Scratch #1, I guess that the "Truce" beside the name of the player means we have had legal contact. Wonder if he would like that Italian word better there? Vendetta! Nah......

And figure that in italian "Truce" actually means something like gruesome, I'll check it
3. I explained you personally, I just made better use of the evenly (?) distributed manna from heaven.
As for leaders names, I didn't figure out at first how to edit it (overlooked that network menu), now I'm Mahatma MoSnhu (I'm indian, I'm a big soul, and MoSe's pedigree tracks back to Vishnu).
and about 1. jimmytrick (of the tail?), fair shot, but I reeeeally advice you, if you want to wipe any doubt, to assure that the proper flag is set to 0 in alpha.txt (near the bottom of #RULES section), before you load your turn: it applies the single player rules for contacts and commlinks (didn't I told you so in my gane too?)

Aredhran's Challenge Q&A
HMFIC:
To change faction name, go to Network menu and customize faction. Can't change sex, though, you'll still be a she
jimmytrick:
1. Contact
You found the correct answer yourself. Congratulations, little grasshopper, you learn fast.
2. $$$
That's after much discussion on the original Challenge thread, it was decided that since no SPs would be started in the first 30 years, and to speed up the game's start a little, each faction would be granted "mana from heaven", namely 2000 energy credits (So Yes, MoSe, it was evenly distributed. Did you doubt it ?)
3. 2 SPs built
Proper use of above-mentioned mana, as explained before by the mahatma
4. Name of this planet anyway?
Er.. Chiron ? Planet ?
What's your problem with my design... If you have any complains, talk to my lawyer
btw, didn't you read the fine print at the back of the contract you signed ? I, the undersigned, hereby declare renouncing all rights to whine about this game and to give all my money to the greatest CMN of all time, Mr. Aredhran
So, there you blah.

2. Waah, I have too much money
3. Wahh, someone built 2 SPs
4. Is this planet called wineyworld?
um, you tell me.

The heck with my contract. I am going to whine some more.
After graciously agreeing to join this misbegotten game, I wait six weeks for the first turn. Then I load it and it asks me for new orders. Seems we are building a project that someone else has built. And we are halfway there. No problem, I think, we will just switch. But noooooooooooooo, can't cause Mr. youknowwho has already built twelve of them. And of course, the Believer's have no tech, so what the heck am I going to do, switch and make a former? !@$^%&$^^
Oh well, it is wise to handicap jimmytrick so, it gives you guys some small chance at survival.

Well, I too had to renounce to the Human Gnome, it would have so nicely completed my triad, anyway, I'll go for my 4th choice...
And here, unlike CivII you're not forced to switch to an availble item once you open the "Change" dialog, you can go on building the no_more_available current item, suffering the nag prompt each turn.
So, invest in the future, and keep on that SP, until you discover something that allows you to switch to another (that's going to happen soon, with your faith in science).

Just chill, HMFIC, I know how to play the game already, okay!
I should have researched the threads and rules, my fault for not doing my homework.
I am just soooooo excited about playing with all of you famous SMACers that I can not contain myself.
No more posts regarding specific game situations. Peace! (will kill you all later)
Waiting by the keyboard for the next turn.

Hey, it aint no thang, and was not
intended to be taken too seriously.
Crap, whos to say some secret code hasnt
been devised whereby one could post some
b.s. message about others attempts to
discuss gameplay, when really hidden in the post is a cyphered message discussing game play intended for a cohort.
"the short man, with the brown hat, is standing in the rain"
Actually I apologize for appearing to be in a 'non-chilled' posture. It should be the duty of the CMN to comment on possible rule infractions, after all, that is what he is getting paid for.

After all these intercourses were not in narrative game story format, so not exactly fit for "All...front".
HMFIC, I could see your half-joking attitude, and I can well see your point (whence the "half-").
But even if my hint can be applied in current in-game situation, I could be as well posting the same lines as a general hint in "the Game" Firaxis Forum" (where I just came fron when posted here).
And, if seriously taken, my advice could be an apple with a worm inside ("do you mind, worm? I've to bite", not related).
Just in case someone took instead seriously your advice to fungalblooming.
I like red, but not on my Chiron tiles (and not on H-shaped runners , did you see the Honda tv-ad?).
MoSe
-The Human Gnome Project makes people happier, coz they think their house is bigger (check "Get'em out by Friday", from Genesis' "Foxtrot", 1972 I guess, Side One track 3. [btw the 1.st track is "Watcher of the Skye" ])
