The University researchers are shocked by the arrogance of the Hive masses! We were peaceful scientists discovering wonderful technologies, learned to tame the native life of Chiron and collected some nice little pets. Then suddenly a Hive vessel brutally destroys our transport and murders our beloved pet mind-worm nest. And this happens again in our sea territory...

The scientist deeply regret that they have to leave their research labs and undergo military traning, learn to drive helicopters and employ their research to weapon technology and production. However, we cannot stand and watch our population butchered...

If the Hive is willing to pay a compensation of 200 energy credits, then the University is willing to sign a truce and sell technology at 50*level cost (e.g. Air Power for 250 energy).

The Hive have offered a peace agreement under which the University should make all current and future techs available. That sounds like one half of an interesting deal, but the counter offer seems to be missing...

So, the University is willing to share all current and future research data, if the Hive-Gaian pact aggrees to give the University all their current energy reserves and future energy income running 100% economy allocation. This way University does all the research and the other 2 factions pay for it - no need to run their own research!

No point denying the pact and full military support the Gaians give the Hive, because the University scouts have noticed "very green" morale Hive planes (which is impossible to be created by Hive factories ) and Boil mind worms under Hive control too.

If the pact refuses this agreement, then the University would like to point that UoP didn't start this war, but UoP will finish it!!!

As for the Hive-Gaian pact...yes we are at pact status diplomatically, but the Gaians have not given any aircraft or native life forms to the Hive. That`s the fact. Not that it matters but, as I said, it`s a fact.

How the Hive got "very green" aircraft is beyond me but I would like to think that the Gaian environment-consciouss thinking have rubbed of on them through our diplomatic sessions
