The Pirates have attacked me for no reason like they have been hooping and hollering about. Let it be known that the Pirates will always be at war until one of out factions is eliminated. Any other faction should be assured that I will accept no terms... make no agreements or give any tribute to the Pirates. If any other faction wishes to attack the Pirates keep that in mind.

"Captain...", the words seem to come from the middle of the room, with impressive quality. "Captain, we have finished replacing the Oniropolis city-wide Operating System with Aqua, the tenth generation such OS."
"Congratulations on the minimal downtime: you only started a few minutes ago".
"But Captain, unfortunately 95% of our programs don't work under OS X, and OS 9 isn't on the Oniropolis local network".
"What about projects AC and AX?"
"Captain, AC and AX will require OS 9 in Oniropolis before they can be used at all. Headquarters have sent the system there and we should be able to restart projects AC and AX in three days".
"Very well. I will wait until then before attacking, our troops need the rest anyway. Record my speech for the opening ceremony of the new research building in Oniropolis tonight".
"Recording..."
"Dear Citizens of Oniropolis, Your city shines brightest of all tonight. Although I have been informed of your current network troubles, rest assured that the world entire is in awe at the amazing project you have completed this year, project which required the change in OS.
Let me first thanks those that made it possible. First and foremost the brave explorers that brought back the artefacts that lie at the center of this new complex, and the core of the Unity which powers the structure. Let me also thanks the pearl chasers who risked their lives to bring back the valuable remains of their alien foes. Let me also thanks the Kelp Farmer Association which has funded entirely the North "Tidal Wave" wing and the East "SuperKelp" wing of this great structure. Last but not least my thanks also go to you, of course, you, the citizen of Oniropolis, for all your hard work at putting together the greatest project yet on this new planet: the Oniropolis Weather Institute, our key to unlocking the secrets of this planet's Weather Paradigm.
Unfortunately I am not able to be with you tonight as the war is pretty much dictating my agenda of late. As soon as projects AC and AX will be up and running again, we will launch our offensive, which we all hope will result in our first ever military conquest on this planet. A combination of software incompatibilities, hardware obsolesences and data corruptions have prevented me from running 95% of my applications including AC and AX. I am trying to fix the problem but it is harder than anything I have come across in 11 years of using Macs. As soon as I can use my applications again, which might mean a hardware upgrade, I'll send the turn again.
