Intriguing elections thus far. The candidates are now Lal and Yang, so any votes for Buster have now been wasted. I abstained.

I have retaken my base that was captured by the Spartans but am still under almost unbearable attacks by the blue menace. I continue to survive.

Hope you don't mind me butting in, but this one caught me out a few times before I found out The Truth about PBEM and calling the council. In PBEM, the game will always tell you that another human player called the Council, even if it was called by the AI.

This kind of thing can sow a lot of doubt and mistrust. In all probability, it really wasn't WE who called an election if he says not. It was very probably one of the AIs.

Thanks for getting my back Misotu, and a good bit of wisdom I never knew about. I'm pretty sure I don't even have Lal's frequency yet (among others) so even if I had wanted to call an election (which I don't) I couldn't.

Thanks to Misotu and damm on the election.
I am a candidate (with Yang and Lal)- throw good tech left and right and then when the year turns I am no longer a candidate (only Yang and Lal left because the commies grew more than I on the years turn).

Seems that maybe the amount of votes are frozen at voting time, but that the list of candidates is not.

And sorry to WE but the game said so and I did not think of doubting it.

Nope, next to last turn for me. Hive was about to take another base, leaving just two, I have few units left, am doing no research & not growing. The Hive just keeps bring them on, 12, 13 units. Nothing I can do to match that. Good luck to all, turn is turned.
