A very good thread i discovered many things that i didnt know before. I have a few things that i would like to bring up. First the spy trick, if u are playing a multiplayer game, and at the time u are almost done with the United Nations, then a spy shows up and destroies it. But there is a way to prevent this, just go inside the city when u see the spy, let him destroy ur work, then change what to build back to united nations, whoops, now u have as many sheilds as before. This problem is a minor bug but can be very good one in the begining of the game when a diplomat does this. This includes whatever improvemnt unit u are building at the time. Of course this cheat ocurrs thanx to lag problems. Another anyoning thing is when u try to bribe a unit and the other player goes in to the units homecity and disband it. U will lose your unit and money on this. Many cheats or so called cheats during bad lag, can easily be removed. Let all the players send their moves to the host after their turn, then u will get rid of these dirty tricks and the lag!! I dont know if this is a relevant issue when making civ3, and i havent seen anyone saying anything about this before, if so u have to excuse me for not taking notice.

I haven't been checking this thread for a while and I don't have the time to catch up, so I'm sorry if this is old news.
Belongs to free info I guess.
When an enemy caravelle and the unit it carries are put to sleep, clicking on it reveals which unit it is carrying.
Don't know how general this is (valid for all types of transports, if it works with more than one unit on the ship, if it matters if it's a non-sleeping transport and/or unit etc).
What's happening here now? The lists have been sent in, but is it over now?

Theben, it was with the patched MGE (UK version). The caravelle was put to sleep and you could see it was carrying something (or was in a stack).
When I clicked on it, I saw the picture of a sleeping marine in the window where unit info normally is (to the right of the map). As I said, don't know if it "worked" only because both units were sleeping, but that's what I saw. Don't know if it's actually a marine on the ship.

The caravelle was put to sleep in an ocean square, not in a city.

Yep, it's a MP game! We are allies too.
Don't remember if it was a left or a right click. I'll check it up and get back to you.

Strange.
It only worked with that specific caravel. There was another one at sleep right next to it and clicking on it didn't reveal a thing.
Don't know if it actually was carrying anything or only was stacked with other ships. Maybe it depends on which unit you put to sleep first, the ship or the unit aboard?
