First, Slowwhand is not an O.W.L. if that's what you were thinking.

Second, it was not you who won that Tribe game against the O.W.L.s. We were in trouble because Barbarian found me early and exploited that discovery quickly and well. Had that not happened, I would have had a much stronger civ, Suas would not have had to spend so much resources in military units to defend my cities, I would have been able to participate in the tech advances, and Suas would have had units to obliterate your attacking navy later. So much depends on the early years.

The Crusaders won as a Tribe, not you alone. And I respect *them* for it, not you.

Cavebear, you guys had that game won. You chose the inapropriate tech path. You failed to commit to control over the seas. Allowing me to get magelleons and lighthouse was a monsterous mistake. I was like the US advisors in Vietnam that game. I was giving advice behind the scenes for many turns. When I took over , true by Braves insane wonder construction program I had everything I needed. But dont forget, when i took over, you guys had more citys, more units then I did . I launched a 100 unit invasion while still in democracy, a feat in and by itself.
AS far as you go Markusf, I cant remember to many games with you that I took seriously other then that embarasing lose where it took me to 3400 bc to build my first city and yet I won easy . Oh wait, I got another 1, the lose to the divine. Oh wait I have several more...remember that series of team games vs me and zylka, we won 3 of 4 there....hmmm
again..80% what a crock of ****...

Well, if we're going to get started maybe I should launch into a discussion of how it took strategicking a full year to finally win a game off me....can you boast something like that strat? I think not. Markus is a far far superior player than you are. He's 1 of only 2 people whom I have respect for. If he says he won 80% of the games against you, I believe it. Afterall, I went a full year with winning 100% of the games against you.
