I know how you feel chrispie... I've been like that for the past three weeks or so. Though in your case it may be more permanent. Anyway, I just finished reading the new posts (took me about three hours or so to do that BTW) and even though I haven't had time to respond to anything yet I'll be attending the meeting.

This is very important announcement!

Since we are making a celebration of one year, please show up on the meeting. Also, this meeting will, as opposed to previous general understanding of the nature of GGS meetings, be open to public! (I cant believe I said that). Fans are welcome (both), fellow civers, critics, wanderers, knights, dragons, ladies, advisors and all other who may come. Bring your brother too!

I suggest topics:

- fan control. These people camping in my courtyard are getting annoying
- realistic, objective overlook at what have we done.
- discussion of the future of the project (should we continue with c++ or switch to basic, target audience, mergers with other projects, where has all the money gone, what shall we do, etc)

In case anyone wants to discuss work also, I have prepared a series of stunning statistics about gameplay which may or may not mean anything.

cool - statistics like the game won't work on anything less than a pentium 5000? And that there is a %97.5 chance that I'll blame all UI faults on 'the way you bloody click the mouse'

I might come and lurk, but I have an exam on saturday and can't really devote much time to talking. If everyone remembers to be a just a little bit discouraging, skeptical or otherwise annoying, I think a large crowd could easily make the atmosphere as lame as it is when I'm around though.

seriously i didn't know...i check my email like once a month and i usually just read one or two of the emails from the mailing list...like the last one i read was i think vetlegion talking about how his country (slovakia) is nice but everyone drives yugos or something...actually i thought that vetlegion was from the US and like 40 but i guess i was totally wrong about that

i'm sure that after reading my post you guys think i am like a 12 year old who never learned the rules for punctuation

ok eastern standard time is GMT minus 7 hours right? so it will be tommorrow at 12 pm eastern time? if that is the case then i can make it if i can get on a computer in the computer lab

and i am assuming that we are meeting on irc (though a yahoo user created room would probably be more accessable to the public) which server and room?

i will try to make it but i have class from 10-2:30 on thursdays with a break from 12-1 and as soon as i get off from school tommorrow i have to goto my suckass job and try to earn a couple dollars...

i usually have to work on sundays (past six in a row and 10 out of the last 12) so when i do get a day off (on average i work five days for 30 hours a week and goto school monday thru friday for 15 hours plus homework) i am usually hanging with my girl

so that is why i don't post nearly as much as i would like too

About the meeting, we have meetings at sundays? I didnt know that, and I thought we are on at 19:30, just that amjayee comes earlier to set a topic and contemplate the meaning of life. I will be there definately.

chrispie, we will see, I advertised this meeting a little. If more then 100 come then amjayee will be very busy kicking them out .

B.t.w. I got my DSL connection! It only works with Win ME currently, so I will be off-line now and then ( ), but when it works on Win 2000... Now waiting for that multiplayer working ggs demo!
