JetW, I just got loged on not too long ago after I found out that BR made his site and that Apolyton had made a forum. I started to read all the post everyone was puting up about it not being the real BR.
I just thought that by posting what I know is true, that the whole thing would end.
Why are you so strung up on making everyone think that it is a fake BR anyway. Why don't you just drop this whole thing and make a knew subject, preferably a nice, pleasant one.
Besides, how do we know that you are not a double login and just kept this hole thing up to get more posts. You might even be BR's other login.

I raise a legitimate concern (read the FAQ about DLs)and all of a sudden I am accused of being bloody double login myself.
Why the hell would I do that?
MarkG, I think your choice of the word "idiot" is as inappropriate as your use of the word "prove". You have told me what happens and I believe you are sincere. That is not the same as proof.

Yet being registered since more than a year, I'm a very sporadic and occasional visitor here.
Thus, I'm not the one to question this forum moderation policy, or its administrators sense of humor (or lack thereof), it would be a moot argument and this is not really my home. (Besides, it's a great site, technically)
But I am really curious when I happen to meet people showing feelings so radically different from what could look common sense to me.
I fail to get: what there is so unbearable in this thread, that you can't live on if it remains open?
Someone expressed opinions and ideas different from yours, or even reported facts that you know as wrong. You replied and told him. Why do you ALSO "need" that this threads is closed? You want to have the last word, and it would be a tragedy for you if someone adds few posts?
You don't want that it keeps up in the threads listing? Why? Because it's an offense to your moral, so you have the right for it to be wiped, as you can't stand its outrageous and offensive mere existence? It would be a disgrace for the forum if someone else simply reads JEtW posts, leaving alone he adding more?
Frankly, I'd think I'd learn something if you explain why you feel the need to ask this thread closed, coz any reason I can come up with by myself is really alien/alienated...
Beats me.
I'm far from achieving it, but I strive to be tolerant with everyone, especially with those whose ideas differ the most from mine. I especially try to be tolerant with the intolerants...

A good question (by the way, my apologies for challenging the veracity of your login - you just can't be too careful round here).
I am not alleging that Brian Reynolds has made a double login. Quite the reverse, in fact. I think,and it is my opinion, nothing else, that someone else has created this Brian Reynolds login. The main reason I think so is that it shows the classic symptoms of a one post login.
As follows :
Create account - post - change e-mail account (which changes the password so the login can't post again).
Now. MarkG assures me he is in possession of evidence that "proves" (his words) that it is the real Brian. I am a reasonable person and I tend to believe him.However, the only thing that will really convince me is that Brian Reynolds login posting here stating that he is the real Brian Reynolds.
Perhaps you could use your influence?

I think this thread has great relevance for BHG. If just anybody can pretend to be a representative of the company then there is the possibility to do great harm. OK, so the fake Brian can't post again but the culprit could pull the same game as Tim Train or whoever.
