I've actually never played beyond the early modern age. I understand your mad, and there are two ways of dealing:

1.Face it, and try to do something about it
2. Complain to Activision (acheives nothing though)

Complaining here was useful while patches were a possibility, and while people needed suggestions for mods, but mindless ranting in getting tedious.

It's "St Swithin" (no "."), she was one of the programming team. I've tried again since then but without any luck. Either it was someone else, or my memory mislead me.

I also tried it again but I just found a cheat and a deleted post. No change to get to know what this post deleted post was.
