The game is going well for Spain. God has rewarded us with a great naval victory against the Turkish dogs near Nicopolis.

oops, it seems I missed that its my turn.

I agree with Chris though, lets move it to CF, right now 'poly is just too slow and unreliable, I bet it will be down again in just a few days.
And its never fast unless I log on early in the morning.

Henrik, it works for me, try renaming it to a *.net file before saving it to your hard disk.

Abreviations doesnt make any difference on macs, so thats not the problem.
Try saving the game again, or perhaps just reposting it.

It said that it wasnt a civ 2 save, however, Waku Dled the same save and sent it to me, aparently the save was corupted during download, when I compared the two files I discovered that the one that was corrupted was only 40k!
The real file was a little above 140, annyway, I've played my turn now (while you posted htis acutally )

But, Chris, you are playing other PBEMs at Poly, such as the Spanish Pride FE, aren't you? Are you going to withdraw from that one too?

Juan, I didn't start SP (Well, I did, but for Jay) or Al-Andulas, so their creators have first say on them.

I did start this game, and tried valiantly to keep it going, but have watched it get delayed over and over, and now, I don't trust Apolyton from day to day to operate, so I'm through worrying about it.

Hell, this place can't even do a DL right anymore.

No sir, I have had it with this.

Feel free to to continue, but I have had it with Apolyton and it's eratic behavior.

You guys don't want to move, that is your perogitive.

I don't wish to stay.
