Now things are getting interesting.

The rioting at Morgan Biochemical finally got so out of hand that the citizens of said base actually rebelled against the Morgan Federation and went over to the Hive.

A Hive outpost deep within Morgan territory! That just can't be tolerated. After brief diplomatic overtures to Chairman Twister, stating we have no desire for a protracted conflict, we sent in our best Probe Teams. Using a Mind Control Probe we were able to bring the base back into the Federation without loss of life.

We have now pledged a Truce with Chairman Twister, and we hope he will except our explaination and also pledge truce.

I've tried to reason with him, but he just won't listen to me. Even attempted to bail him out with money and tech, but he won't even answer my hails.

Take him out!

Ive never seen the AI play a faction so badly before. I know the Ai isn't very versatile, its strategy generally sucks, and its overall game play is one dimensional, but still Zak with only one base and eight rovers for over 100 turns is pretty bad!!

As I said, take him out. End the misery!

PS. So you declined a treaty with the Morgan Federation, eh? What ARE you planning?

The University has succumbed to the determined Hive war machine. Two factions have now been eradicated, and their leaders captured by the self-styled Tyrant of Planet; Chairman Twister.

It may soon be time for the remaining free peoples of Planet to rally together, and stand against the outward aggression of the brutal Hive.

Emmisaries will be sent, to parley with the Nautilus Pirates, within the week.

Well the Nautilus Pirates continue to ignore all our attempts to hail them.

I guess they are going to go it alone... and probably get wiped out. We tried.

On a brighter note, the Morgan Federation is pleased to announce that we have almost completed the "Planetary Energy Grid." This wonder of wonders will help further our efforts to corner the global marketplace—as if we don't already .

Turn 2237 to Twister

Spore launchers off the coast of Morgan Construction are bombarding our terrain features. We have no naval units in the area, as the only Impact Foil we had was destroyed in an engagement with fanatical Believer forces!

Morgan Security Forces were also unsuccessful in recapturing the rogue Hive base on Morgan Territory. A lightning strike with the new Morgan Missile Interceptor proved surprisingly ineffectual.

Morgan Board of Directors will hold an emergency meeting to revue current defensive strategy. A excective restructuring may be in order.
