Tell me oh genius raz how it is possible to win that game. I am sure you will your great skill would have no problems. There is a big difference between "losing" a game at 3000 bc due to the other guys hut luck and starting position compared to losing a game for making bad decisions at 1000 bc or later. This seems to be a concept you find rather hard to understand.

If you choose to paly a duel in civ 2 you have to live with the luck that comes with that. ..... If some one conceded to you in 3000BC then i am sure you would count it as a win

As for my skill, I never claim to be great at Civ 2, in fact i suck , which is why i dont do duels or play in competitions or ladder games.. What I play civ 2 for is fun fun fun... Give me MP any day !!!
