The Gaians have declared war on the Peacekeepers after being asked to withdraw from Peacekeeper territory.Diplomatic attempts at resoloution of this misunderstanding are being ignored by Lady Deirdre. We hope to resolve this impass soon without resorting to military action.

Hey all:
Two things.
First, i sent turn 2142 onto SITS, but it looks like u guys went on without me (as you should). Sorry, this has happened twice. This time was neglence on my part. My apologies for holding up the game.
Second, next week I will be leaving for an extended work-related trip. Extended, as in 3 weeks. There is no realistic way for me to be able to play the turns. Please advise on how I should look for a replacement, or what procedure i should follow.
Once again, my apologies.

1. Please resend the turn Spasmofit: I have not received 2144 yet, and you posted two days ago.
2. A replacement provost has been located to take my place during my own upcoming sabbatical. I think you will find his experimental and theoretical skills, ahem, "adequate." I will provide more details shortly as soon as his full consent has been received.

ok, this is my last communique for a while. I have forwarded spamofit's turn (2144) onto my replacement, whose name is Hobbes. I have communicated his email to Spasmofit as well (i don't know if Hobbes wants his email made generally public; i'll leave that decision to him, since i don't know).
Good luck all. I hope all goes smoothly. Will miss all of ya's. Well, considering where i'm goin, maybe not tooo much.
