Well, there are some good official game-sites, however, there is one worse than Civ3...
The Frontier Developments, David Braben (anyone remember?)
Elite 4 is the only game besides Civ3 that i bother waiting and hoping for....and if Firaxis is slow with updates and lack information....well...

The purpose was for people to see what a great official game website looks like and compare it to the official CIV III site.

I agree with Mark G. I have no interest in the game's genre, but that is one teriffic site.

www.ensemblestudios.com is also a great site for it's game, Age of kings. firaxis has an awful site.

(of course, they have to be Apolytoners!) That would be soooo cool!!

So, what's keeping the two of us? Let's go!

I only hope that there is some dough to feed "us". My parents would never pay these "vacations" (in they're point of view, of course!We're going to have lots of work, lots of work!)

I'm not trying to get your hopes down but if anybody here were able to play the beta test game it would only be the emperors and deities not the Chieftains, Princes, Settlers, Warlords, etc...

No, I think that we should be picked by THE TEAM, by wich parameters they see fit, or they just draw our names in paper stripes from a bag or something...

By programming experience? Nah, I still only write in VB, not VC++...

By most hours spent playing Civ1? Nah, too irrealistic to prove a true winner... (but I would sure beat many! I played on my 8086, with 712 KB RAM! Boy, was that slow! And no mouse!)
