Why even care about custom avatars?

Curiass, If you post a lot in the Apoly/Community, AC-Fiction, and Civ III sections, with at least 6 posts in 30-40 minutes of net activity each day, you will reach 2000 posts in 1 year. Thus 1000 posts in 6 months and 500 in three.

Avatars are as useful as a signature, profile, or login-in name. They're just a visual form. What exactly is it you hate about them?

No, you have to do it the hard way:
Be online a minimum of 8 hours a day and read all posts in all forums but the OT, and reply to everything that you think you can add something to. And don’t even try spaming that will give you PCRs (Post Count Reductions)

of course, that isn't always true but there's alot prince+ guys that are asses while i like most everyone else.

If you click on "membera" at the top of the screen, then top 20 posters you can get a run-down of how many posts people have made.

You currently sit on page 72 although only a couple of posts could leap-frog you a few pages.

As you move higher in the list, you must make more posts to overtake someone... The # of Posts gets more spaced out the higher you go.
