Uhm...GIFs are quite small...so you don't have to worry about that...
The size of the smiley depends on what you want with it...usually 15x15 pixels is good to hold on to...

Zopper's COL (crying out loud) is pretty good! I like it!

Also, devilmunchkin's disgusted, teleported and shocked are excelent too! Although I think you overreacted a little on the shocked one. I sugest you reduce about 1 centimeter the width of the mouth.

I have a great idea for the smilies! someone put all of the smilies together in one post, (like what stefu did with the start of this thread) and then have MarkG make it a sticky thread and close it, that way we'd be able to get the smilies by copying and pasting. it would at least be better than not having them at all...
