On behalf of his Royal Highness Sigismundus III, High King of Poland, Grand Duke of Lithuania, Duke of Courland etc.,etc.
The Polish Vessels of War entered Danish Territory before the Jylland Decree was active. Prior to this, the Danish Government was informed of their presence. At the time, Poland-Lithuania was at a State of War against the King of Sweden in Livonia.
Trusting the King of Denmark, and knowing that the Swedish Fleet is superior to the Polish in both numbers, and perhaps quality, the Polish Admirality decided to use friendly territory for transportation of Our Vessels of War into action off the Livonian coast and to disrupt the lines of supply and communication between main Sweden and the Swedish Baltic territiories.
The Livonian War will reach its end within few Months, and with it the need for War patrolling in the Baltic. The Vessels of War mentioned will therefore be returning to Polish Ports the following Months.
We hereby give Our Word to the King of the Danes and Norwegians that Poland-Lithuania not will declare War on Her Danish Brothers in spite of the sinking of the Polish Vessel.
The Polish Court accepts the Danish Explanation for this Tragedy, and do trust the Word of King Christian IV the Wise.
Pro Jure Et Popolo

Greetings from Sigismund III, High King of Poland-Lithuania,
Since last month, the Polish Army has won great victories in the south.
Yet another Ottoman attack on the city of Kamieniec in the Ukraine was repulsed, and soon thereafter, Polish infantry was victorious in a battle outside the city.
Polish Cavalry also won a victory over Ottoman sipahis just west of the city of Lwow.
In the north, the withdrawal of Polish forces from Livonia has begun, according to the Swedish-Polish peace treaty.
Although the majority of the Polish forces already are out of Livonia, we ask our Swedish Brothers to hold the takeover of Riga city until August this year, as our forces in Riga will need time to settle in new home cities.
Of course, all hostilities between Sweden and Poland and between the Protestants and Poland have seized already.

As predicted, Ottoman forces captured the easternmost, Ukrainian village of Balta, due to the withdrawal of Polish troops westwards to the defence of Kamieniec.
This occupation will not last, however. Polish troops are already poised to strike eastwards, marching to the liberation of Balta.

Kings, and Rulers of Mighty Europe,
...Let commerce and prosperity be the driving forces on the continent, rather then the cannonade of our guns. The Royal Fleet of Denmark has set sail... not under the flag of war, but as transporters of artisans, merchants, musicians, men of the Cloth as well as men of science. We should hope that the rest of Europe has the sense to do the same...

These words we the first words spoken by any ruler of Europe in these times.

Despite the Danish government levieing taxes and tolls on ships passing their waters they intend to cross Protestant waters unhindered. |
The Protestants have made no such decree as to their desire to levee any such tarifs.

The protestant government asks for the Danish ship to be sailed into the Dutch lakes (the inland waters whatever they're called) to be inspected and tolled appropriately. |
We shall show you proof here that our intentions are merely to trade with the great city of Amsterdam, and perhaps another but I cannot remember which. You can see the contents of the vessel, and their respective commodities.

To his Royal Highness Sigismundus III, High King of Poland, Grand Duke of Lithuania, Duke of Courland etc..,
The Danes do see this as a tragedy indeed. We are very pleased to hear that the continuation of relations between our two great Nations shall be positive, and cooperative. I have sent for the surviving sailors to be shipped from Borholm to Wisby, where you make take them aboard you vessels in the area.
Christian IV does recognize and accept the Polish-Lithuanian explanations as well, and trusts that this unfortunate event can be put in the past, and that we may look forward to the promising future between Poland-Lithuania and the Kingdom of Denmark.
Denmark wishes well the glorious soldiers of Poland-Lithuania in their defense of the Ukraine. This land is dear in our hearts, and we should not like to see it fall into the hands of the Ottomans.
Should Military assistance be required, we are open to ideas regarding mutual defense in the south...
-The Wise and Mighty Monarch of the Danes and Norwegians, Duke of Holstein, Lord of the Oldenburg House, etc...
--Christian IV.
