A large cash investment was forwarded to the Roman banks.

Max, this is just a drop in the bucket compared to our coffers. If you agree to modernize our nations infrastructure, We will forward this amount for the next 5 turns.

I know that the Roman city planners could use that money to speed up there own infrastructure plans. But we maya, we need tech...

I still have a lot of gold left. Most players rushed wonders at the beginning of the game but by the time the turn came round to me most of the best were built.

I'm glad now I didn't spend too much on building units because they would be out of date by now and I'm still all alone on this planet. Where is everyone, I've uncovered almost a third of the map and still no one.

Due to the diplomatic exchanges lately, I have been able to draw a large amount of gold from my banks. All the gold has been invested in a large new complex of labs and classrooms and livingrooms for scientists.

At last the Vikings have made contact with the outside world. Thanks to our new Egyptian friends we have knowledge of new lands and peoples outside the Viking world. Viking explorers have been reprimanded and cast out as failures, they were looking in totally the wrong directional. .
