I'd like a large map of Korea with the Eastern coast of China where I could play out a scenario involving the three kingdoms and the Chinese who came over to 'help out' during one of the wars but insisted on staying. And a small fries to go.

Yin, I heard you are good with scenarios and editing. Once you get Civ3 how about having a go at that one? You're familiar with Korean history. Or, if the editing tools are easy to use perhaps we can both have a try and compare later.

They have to have a World War II scenario (hopefully full map, 16 civs ) and I also want a Pelopponesian War scenario, Athenians and Spartans...

And with drafting and Infantry... a World War I scenario would be cool.

And with all new nukes and Espionage, a Cold War!

God I'm gonna love this game (hopefully)... 8 days...

Didn't Civ2 ship only with WW2 Europe and Rise of Rome scenarios??

I'm wondering how many will be in Civ3, although I reckon the above 2 are a dead cert. I don't reckon they will be as many as people seem to think because:

1. They havent had much time to work on them since after/during beta testing was complete on Civ3...

2. They may have decided they could release an add-on for civ3 including extra scenarios, new civs, new maps, new units and multiplayer??? (I'm sure they'll do this if civ3 sells successfully - I wouldn't expect MP to be a free download as some have suggested)

I thought awhile back Firaxis said that Civ III will have like a bunch of scenarious. I heard something on the order of a dozen. But maybe that was just for LE or maybe I'm just crazy...

talk about one sided you start the game and you practically one

The only way to get a modern civ scenario is to tweak the world a little bit. Say China and US goes to war. May be put the Russians against the us to balance it, or you could say the cold war continued.

A Vietnam war scenario would be cool but probably to hard to immplement.
