Fire Woman
THE CULT
Wound up, can't sleep, can't do anything right, little honey,
Oh, since I set my eyes on you.
I tell you the truth.
Twistin' like a flame in a slow dance, baby,
You're driving me crazy.
Come on, little honey, come on now!
Fire! Smoke, she is a rising!
Fire! Smoke on the horizon!
Fire! Smoke, she is a rising!
Fire! Smoke stack lightning!
You shake it up, you're to blame, got me swayin' little honey.
My heart's a ball of burnin' flame.
Oh, yes it is.
Trancing like a cat on a hot tin shack,
Lord, have mercy! Come on little sister, come on and shake it!
Fire! Smoke, she is a rising!
Fire! Smoke on the horizon!
Fire! Smoke, she is a rising!
Fire! Smoke stack lightning!
I was thinking what I've been missing.
I'll tell you truthfully, well.
She's coming close now.
I can feel her.
She's getting close to me.
Fire! Smoke, she is a rising!
Fire! Smoke on the horizon!
Fire! Smoke, she is a rising!
Fire! Smoke stack lightning!
Fire woman you're to blame

As I drift off into the night

She's a boy's scoundral gal
But I'm gonna lose my cool

Once in a LIfetime by The Talking HEads
And you may find yourself living in a shotgun shack
And you may find yourself in another part of the world
And you may find yourself behind the wheel of a large automobile
And you may find yourself in a beautiful house, with a beautiful
wife
And you may ask yourself-Well...How did I get here?
Letting the days go by/let the water hold me down
Letting the days go by/water flowing underground
Into the blue again/after the money's gone
Once in a lifetime/water flowing underground.
And you may ask yourself
How do I work this?
And you may ask yourself
Where is that large automobile?
And you may tell yourself
This is not my beautiful house!
And you may tell yourself
This is not my beautiful wife!
Letting the days go by/let the water hold me down
Letting the days go by/water flowing underground
Into the blue again/after the money's gone
Once in a lifetime/water flowing underground.
Same as it ever was...Same as it ever was...Same as it ever was...
Same as it ever was...Same as it ever was...Same as it ever was...
Same as it ever was...Same as it ever was...
Water dissolving...and water removing
There is water at the bottom of the ocean
Remove the water carry the water
Remove the water at the bottom of the ocean!
Letting the days go by/let the water hold me down
Letting the days go by/water flowing underground
Into the blue again/after the money's gone
Once in a life time water flowing underground.
Into the blue again/into the silent water.
under the rocks and stones/there is water underground
Letting the days go by/into the silent water
Once in a lifetime/water flowing underground
And you may ask yourself
What is that beautiful house?
And you may ask yourself
Where does that highway go?
And you may ask yourself
Am I right?...Am I wrong?
And you may say to yourself
MY GOD!...WHAT HAVE I DONE?
Letting the days go by/let the water hold me down
Letting the days go by/water flowing underground
Into the blue again/after the money's gone
once in a lifetime/water flowing undeground
into the blue again/into the silent water
once in a lifetime/water flowing underground
Same as it ever was...Same as it ever was...Same as it ever was...
Same as it ever was...Same as it ever was...Same as it ever was...
Same as it ever was...Same as it ever was...
time isn't holding us, time isn't after us
time isn't holding us, time doesn't hold you back
time isn't holding us, time isn't after us
time isn't holding us,
letting the days go by(x3)
once in a lifetime
letting the days go by(x3)
once in a lifetime

I'm gonna change my evil ways, one of these days.
------------------------------------
AC/DC
Ride On
(Young, Young & Scott)
It's another lonely evening
And another lonely town
But I ain't too young to worry
And I ain't too old to cry
When a woman gets me down
Got another empty bottle
And another empty bed
Ain't too young to admit it
And I'm not too old to lie
I'm just another empty head
That's why I'm lonely
I'm so lonely
But I know what I'm gonna do -
I'm gonna ride on
Ride on
Ride on, standing on the edge of the road
Ride on, thumb in the air
Ride on, one of these days I'm gonna
Ride on, change my evil ways
Till then I'll just keep dragging on
Broke another promise
And I broke another heart
But I ain't too young to realize
That I ain't too old to try
Try to get back to the start
And it's another red light nightmare
Another red light street
And I ain't too old to hurry
Cause I ain't too old to die
But I sure am hard to beat
But I'm lonely
Lord I'm lonely
What am I gonna do -
Ride on
Ride on, got myself a one-way ticket
Ride on
Ride on, going the wrong way
Ride on, gonna change my evil ways
Ride on, one of these days
One of these days
Ride on
Ride on
I'm gonna ride on
Ride on, looking for a truck
Ride on
Ride on, keep on riding
Riding on and on and on

Who Do You Pay Rent To
---------------------------------------------
Heart That You Own
Dwight Yoakam
(Yoakam)
I pay rent on a run down place
There ain't no view but there's lots of space
In my heart, the heart that you own
pay the rent, pay it right on time
Baby I pay you every single dime
For my heart, the heart that you own
Used to be I could love you for free
Way back before you bought the property
Now I pay daily on what once was mine
Lord, I probably owe you for these tears that I cry
Cause I pay rent on a run down place
There ain't no view but there's lots of space
In my heart, the heart that you own
(Very fine interlude)
I struggle each night to find a new way
To pay what I owe, just so I can stay
I ain't overdue, so you can't throw me out
I've loved here for years, don't know where I'd go now
I pay rent on a run down place
There ain't no view but there's lots of space
In my heart, the heart that you own
In my heart, the heart that you own

Level on the Inside by Dovetail Joint
all the trials you've endured
Around and around, the refrain
rings the same each time it's heard
Entertain the notion, that the only thing I hear
Is the crack of a smile, in a face that ain't so sincere
When measuring out your quality
It is only as deep as your modesty
As your insides fall to pieces
Shattered by the silent treatment
Things are only fragile till they break
Feigning your humility
It only serves to weaken the
Most common observations that you make
Drown me out in conversation
Surf a wave of provocation
Wash away my interest in your wake
I think you can, reach a place
where the impetus is pure
You'll understand, a disgrace
is the thing that makes us feel..
"Level on the inside, level on the outside"
I'm content to know it
I don't need to show it

Tabitha's Secret - Dizzy
And outside, the sky is falling
People dodging raindrops, staying dry
And inside, I never gave a damn about those outside people anyway
And it hurt me, they don't even know who I am
And inside, there's no rainbows
And inside, I try I try I try, I try to clear my head
And outside, the rain is drying, and inside, I'm dying
'Cause in here, I'm staring at the rings my coffee cup has made on the table
And in here, I know I know I know, that this is as good as it gets
And in time I hope to be the one that talks about the other half
Until then, I count the cracks on the wall, until it's time to lay my head
And inside, I play with shadows
And inside, I know I know I know, that I'll feel this way all day, all day
And outside, there's hope for trying, and inside, I'm dying
You walk before me, lord knows I can't follow
You walk behind me and I don't think I can lead
You walk around me, please don't walk around me
'Cause you know how dizzy I get

Revolution
You say you want a revolution,
well, you know,
we all want to change the world.
You tell me that it's evolution,
well, you know,
we all want to change the world.
But when you talk about destruction,
don't you know you can count me out.
Don't you know it's gonna be alright.
Alright. Alright.
You say you got a real solution,
well, you know,
we'd all love to see the plan.
You ask me for a contribution,
well, you know,
we're doing what we can.
But when you want money for people with minds that hate,
all I can tell you is brother you have to wait.
Don't you know it's gonna be alright.
Alright. Alright.
You say you'll change the constitution,
well, you know,
we all want to change your head.
You tell me it's the institution,
well, you know,
you better free your mind instead.
But if you go carrying pictures of Chairman Mao,
you ain't going to make it with anyone anyhow.
Don't you know know it's gonna be alright.
Alright. Alright.
Alright. Alright.
Alright. Alright.
Alright. Alright.
Alright. Alright.

Hurricane
Pistol shots ring out in the barroom night
Enter Patty Valentine from the upper hall.
She sees the bartender in a pool of blood,
Cries out, "My God, they killed them all!"
Here comes the story of the Hurricane,
The man the authorities came to blame
For somethin' that he never done.
Put in a prison cell, but one time he could-a been
The champion of the world.
Three bodies lyin' there does Patty see
And another man named Bello, movin' around mysteriously.
"I didn't do it," he says, and he throws up his hands
"I was only robbin' the register, I hope you understand.
I saw them leavin'," he says, and he stops
"One of us had better call up the cops."
And so Patty calls the cops
And they arrive on the scene with their red lights flashin'
In the hot New Jersey night.
Meanwhile, far away in another part of town
Rubin Carter and a couple of friends are drivin' around.
Number one contender for the middleweight crown
Had no idea what kinda **** was about to go down
When a cop pulled him over to the side of the road
Just like the time before and the time before that.
In Paterson that's just the way things go.
If you're black you might as well not show up on the street
'Less you wanna draw the heat.
Alfred Bello had a partner and he had a rap for the cops.
Him and Arthur Dexter Bradley were just out prowlin' around
He said, "I saw two men runnin' out, they looked like middleweights
They jumped into a white car with out-of-state plates."
And Miss Patty Valentine just nodded her head.
Cop said, "Wait a minute, boys, this one's not dead"
So they took him to the infirmary
And though this man could hardly see
They told him that he could identify the guilty men.
Four in the mornin' and they haul Rubin in,
Take him to the hospital and they bring him upstairs.
The wounded man looks up through his one dyin' eye
Says, "Wha'd you bring him in here for? He ain't the guy!"
Yes, here's the story of the Hurricane,
The man the authorities came to blame
For somethin' that he never done.
Put in a prison cell, but one time he could-a been
The champion of the world.
Four months later, the ghettos are in flame,
Rubin's in South America, fightin' for his name
While Arthur Dexter Bradley's still in the robbery game
And the cops are puttin' the screws to him, lookin' for somebody to blame.
"Remember that murder that happened in a bar?"
"Remember you said you saw the getaway car?"
"You think you'd like to play ball with the law?"
"Think it might-a been that fighter that you saw runnin' that night?"
"Don't forget that you are white."
Arthur Dexter Bradley said, "I'm really not sure."
Cops said, "A poor boy like you could use a break
We got you for the motel job and we're talkin' to your friend Bello
Now you don't wanta have to go back to jail, be a nice fellow.
You'll be doin' society a favor.
That sonofa***** is brave and gettin' braver.
We want to put his ass in stir
We want to pin this triple murder on him
He ain't no Gentleman Jim."
Rubin could take a man out with just one punch
But he never did like to talk about it all that much.
It's my work, he'd say, and I do it for pay
And when it's over I'd just as soon go on my way
Up to some paradise
Where the trout streams flow and the air is nice
And ride a horse along a trail.
But then they took him to the jailhouse
Where they try to turn a man into a mouse.
All of Rubin's cards were marked in advance
The trial was a pig-circus, he never had a chance.
The judge made Rubin's witnesses drunkards from the slums
To the white folks who watched he was a revolutionary bum
And to the black folks he was just a crazy nigger.
No one doubted that he pulled the trigger.
And though they could not produce the gun,
The D.A. said he was the one who did the deed
And the all-white jury agreed.
Rubin Carter was falsely tried.
The crime was murder "one," guess who testified?
Bello and Bradley and they both baldly lied
And the newspapers, they all went along for the ride.
How can the life of such a man
Be in the palm of some fool's hand?
To see him obviously framed
Couldn't help but make me feel ashamed to live in a land
Where justice is a game.
Now all the criminals in their coats and their ties
Are free to drink martinis and watch the sun rise
While Rubin sits like Buddha in a ten-foot cell
An innocent man in a living hell.
That's the story of the Hurricane,
But it won't be over till they clear his name
And give him back the time he's done.
Put in a prison cell, but one time he could-a been
The champion of the world.

Bad Religion
Voice of God is Government
neighbors, no one loves you like he loves you,
and no one cares like he cares.
neighbors, let us join today in the holy love of God and money,
because neighbors, no one loves you like He loves you.
and what better way to show your love than to dig deep into your pockets.
dig real deep, until it hurts. Alleviate your guilt,
free yourself once again, because he gave to you, brothers and sisters.
please give a 10, 25, or 50 dollar tax-deductible donation,
and I assure you your modest pledge will be used to censor TV and radio,
ban questionable books, and contribute to many other Godly services.
no longer will young Christian Americans hedonistically indulge
in masochistic submission to rhythmic music, for with your monetary support,
there is no end to what we can achieve in this country.
the voice of God is government. The voice of God is government.
the voice of God is government. In God we trust, sinners repent!
(1,2,3,4)
can't you see what we believe in, all our thoughts, all our reasons,
pursuit of life and liberty and happiness we cannot see?
speak of truth with a mighty voice, but politics are your real choice.
hire men to change the law, protect and serve with one small flaw.
voice of God is government. The voice of God is government.
voice of God is government. In God we trust, sinners repent!
if we shun God and Jesus Christ, religious love is sacrifice.
love for God is shown in cash, the love they send is mailbox trash.
with every pamphlet we receive, more money asked for Godly needs.
build a million dollar church, with money spent on God's research.
voice of God is government. The voice of God is government.
voice of God is government. In God we trust, sinners repent!
on late night TV, God can heal, a certain force you cannot feel.
love for money in God's name, religion's now a TV game!
build a million dollar church, with money spent on God's research.
build a million dollar church, with money spent on God's research.
voice of God is government. The voice of God is government.
voice of God is government. In God we trust, sinners repent!
yeah!
voice of God is government. The voice of God is government.
voice of God is government. In God we trust, sinners repent!

Ordinary People
In a dusty town a clock struck high noon, two men stood face to face.
One wore black and one wore white, but of fear there wasn't a trace.
Two hundred years later two hot rods drag through the very same place,
And a half a million people
Moved in to pick up the pace, a factory full of people.
Makin' parts to go to outer space, a train load of people.
They were aimin' for another place, out of town people.
There's a man in the window with a big cigar, says everything's for sale.
The house and the boat and the railroad car, the owner's gotta go to jail.
He acquired these things from a life of crime, now he's selling them to raise his bail.
He was rippin' off the people.
Sellin' guns to the underground, tryin' to help the people.
Lose their ass for a piece of ground, rippin' off the people.
Skimmin' the top when there was no one around, tryin' to help the people.
He was dealing antiques in a hardware store but he sure had a lot to hide.
He had a backroom full of the guns of war and a ton of ammunition besides.
Well, he walked with a cane, kept a bolt on the door with five pit bulls inside,
Just a warning to the people
Who might try to break in at night, protection from the people.
Selling safety in the darkest night, tryin' to help the people.
Get the drugs to the street all right, ordinary people.
Well, it's hard to say where a man goes wrong, might be here and it might be there.
What starts out weak might get too strong, if you can't tell foul from fair.
But it's hard to judge from an angry throng of hands stretched into the air,
The vigilante people.
Takin' law into their own hands, conscientious people.
Crackin' down on the druglord's land, government people.
Confiscatin' all the dealer's land, patch-of-ground people.
Down at the factory, they're puttin' new windows in.
The vandals made a mess of things, and the homeless just walked right in.
Well, they worked here once, and they live here now, but they might work here again,
They're ordinary people.
And they're livin' in a nightmare, hard workin' people.
And they don't know how they go there, ordinary people.
And they think that you don't care, hard workin' people.
Down on the assembly line, they keep puttin' the same thing out.
But the people today, they just ain't buyin', nobody can figure it out.
Well, they try like hell to build a quality end, they're workin' hard without a doubt,
They're ordinary people.
And the dollar's what it's all about, hard workin' people.
But the customers are walkin' out, Lee Iacocca people.
Yeah, they look but they just don't buy, hard workin' people.
Two out of work models and a fashion slave try to dance away the Michelob night.
The bartender poured himself another drink, while two drunks sat watchin' the fight.
The champ went down, then he got up again, and then he went out like a light,
He was fightin' for the people.
But his timing wasn't right, for Las Vegas people
Who came to see a Las Vegas fight, high rollin' people.
Takin' limos though the neon night, fightin' for the people.
And then a new Rolls Royce and a company car they went flyin' down the street.
Each one tryin' to make it to the gate before employees manned the fleet.
The trucks full of products for the modern home, set to roll out into the street
Of downtown people.
Tryin' to make their way to work, nose-to-the-stone people.
Some are saints, and some are jerks, hard workin' people.
Stoppin' for a drink on the way to work, alcoholic people.
Yeah Yeah, they're takin' it one day, one day at a time.
Out on the railroad track, they're cleanin' up number nine.
They're scrubbin' the boiler down, well, she really is lookin' fine.
Awe, she's lookin' so good, they're gonna bring her back on line,
Ordinary people.
They're gonna bring the good things back, nose-to-the stone people.
Put the business back on track, ordinary people.
I got faith in the regular kind, hard workin' people,
Patch-of-ground people.
The Rolling Stones
Gimme Shelter
Oh a storm is threat'ning my very life today.
If I don't get some shelter,
Oh yeah, I'm gonna fade away.
War, children, it's just a shot away, it's just a shot away.
War, children, it's just a shot away, it's just a shot away.
See the fire sweepin' out very street today,
Burns like a red coal carpet, mad bull lost its way.
War, children, it's just a shot away, it's just a shot away.
War, children, it's just a shot away, it's just a shot away.
Rape! Murder! It's just a shot away, it's just a shot away.
Rape! Murder! It's just a shot away, it's just a shot away.
The floods is threat'ning my very life today.
Gimme, gimme shelter or I'm gonna fade away.
War, children, it's just a shot away, it's just a shot away.
It's just a shot away, it's just a shot away, it's just a shot away.
Love, sister, it's just a kiss away, it's just a kiss away.
It's just a kiss away,it's just a kiss away,
It's just a kiss away,it's just a kiss away.

Third Eye
"See, I think drugs have done some *good* things for us, I really do. And if you don't believe drugs have done good things for us, do me a favor: Go home tonight and take all your albums, all your tapes, and all your cd's and burn em'. Cause you konw what? The musicians who've made all that great music that's enhanced your lives throughout the years... RRRRRRRRRRRRReal ****in high on drugs." --Bill Hicks "another dead hero"-- "Today a younge man on acid relised that all matter is mearly energy condenced into a slow vibration, that we are all one consciousness [expearencing itself subjectively], there is no such thing death, life is only a dream, and we are just an imagination of ourselves. Here's Tom with the weather It's not a war on drugs, it's a war on personal freedom, that's what it is, ok? Keep that in mind at all times." Dreaming of that face again. It's bright and blue and shimmering. Grinning wide And comforting me with it's three warm and wild eyes. On my back and tumbling Down that hole and back again Rising up And wiping the webs and the dew from my withered eye. In... Out... In... Out... In... Out... A child's rhyme stuck in my head. It said that life is but a dream. I've spent so many years in question to find I've known this all along. "So good to see you. I've missed you so much. So glad it's over. I've missed you so much Came out to watch you play. Why are you running?" Shroud-ing all the ground around me Is this holy crow above me. Black as holes within a memory And blue as our new second sun. I stick my hand into his shadow To pull the pieces from the sand. Which I attempt to reassemble To see just who I might have been. I do not recognize the vessel, But the eyes seem so familiar. Like phosphorescent desert buttons Singing one familiar song... "So good to see you. I've missed you so much. So glad it's over. I've missed you so much. Came out to watch you play. Why are you running away?" Prying open my third eye. So good to see you once again. I thought that you were hiding. And you thought that I had run away. Chasing the tail of dogma. I opened my eye and there we were. So good to see you once again I thought that you were hiding from me. And you thought that I had run away. Chasing a trail of smoke and reason. Prying open my third eye.

Land of the Free
Land of the free and we're united, make our destiny, we take control,
yeah, never divided, we got the power and we'll never be, divided we fall,
oh yeah, land of the free, free to conspire, control destiny,
oh yeah, you're gonna see, no use resistin',
you're livin' in the land of the free, free to control your life,
land of the free, free to control your mind, land of the free?
Land of the free, united nations of hypocrisy, profit's our goal,
we're incorporated, it's big business and oil companies controlling us all,
oh yeah, land of the free, free to conspire, control destiny,
oh yeah, you're gonna see, no use resistin',
you're livin' in the land of the free, free to control your life,
land of the free, free to control your mind, land of the free?
I'd like to pray to the flag of the united states of hypocrisy
and see the republic for which it stands, one day we'll seize control,
3000 AD and justice for all
Land of the free, free to control your life, land of the free,
free to control your mind, land of the free, land of the free,
free to control your life, land of the free, free to control your mind,
land of the free?
Yeah, right

Bad to the Bone
George Thorogood and The Delaware Destroyers
On the day I was born, the nurses all gathered 'round
And they gazed in wide wonder, at the joy they had found
The head nurse spoke up, and she said leave this one alone
She could tell right away, that I was bad to the bone
Bad to the bone
Bad to the bone
B-B-B-B-Bad to the bone
B-B-B-B-Bad
B-B-B-B-Bad
Bad to the bone
I broke a thousand hearts, before I met you
I'll break a thousand more baby, before I am through
I wanna be yours pretty baby, yours and yours alone
I'm here to tell ya honey, that I'm bad to the bone
Bad to the bone
B-B-B-Bad
B-B-B-Bad
B-B-B-Bad
Bad to the bone
I make a rich woman beg, I'll make a good woman steal
I'll make an old woman blush, and make a young woman squeal
I wanna be yours pretty baby, yours and yours alone
I'm here to tell ya honey, that I'm bad to the bone
B-B-B-B-Bad
B-B-B-B-Bad
B-B-B-B-Bad
Bad to the bone

Ghost In This House
Alison Kruass and Union Station
I don't pick up the mail
I don't pick up the phone
I don't answer the door
I'd just soon be alone
I don't keep this place up
I just keep the lights down
I don't live in these rooms
I just rattle around
I'm just a ghost in this house
I'm just a shadow upon these walls.
As quietly as a mouse
I haunt these halls
I'm just a whisper of smoke
I'm all that's left of two hearts on fire
That once burned out of control
You took my body and soul
I'm just a ghost in this house
I don't care if it rains
I dont' care if its clear
I don't mind staying in
There's another ghost here
He sits down in your chair
And he shines with your light
And he lays down his head
On you pillow at night
I'm just a ghost in this house
I'm just a shadow upon these walls.
I'm living proof of the damage
Heart-break does
I'm just a whisper of smoke
I'm all that's left of two hearts on fire
That once burned out of control
You took my body and soul
I'm just a ghost in this house
That once burned out of control
Yo took my body and soul
I'm just a ghost in this house.

Primitive by ANnie LEnnox
Sweetheart
The sun has set
All red and primitive above our heads.
Blood stained on an ageless sky
Wipe your tears and let the salt stains dry.
Let them all run dry
All run dry...
Sweetheart
Take me to bed
That's where all our prayers are said.
Whispered silent in the night
That's how all our dreams take flight.
Let them all go by
All go by...
For time will catch us in both hands
To blow away like grains of sand.
Ashes to ashes rust to rust
This is what becomes of us...
Sweetheart
Send me to sleep
Pray to God our hopes to keep.
Take our fears and make us strong
Lead us to where we belong
And let it all go by
All go by...

Magdalena by A Perfect Circle
overcome by your moving temple overcome by this holiest of altars
so pure so rare to witness such an earthly goddess that i've lost my self
control beyond compelled to throw this dollar down
before your holiest of altars
i'd sell my soul my self esteem a dollar at a time for one chance one kiss
one taste of you my magdalena
i bear witness to this place this prayer so long forgotten so pure so rare to
witness such an earthly goddess that i'd sell my soul my self esteem a
dollar at a time for one chance one kiss one taste of you my black
madonna
i'd sell my soul my self esteem a dollar at a time one taste one taste one
taste of you my magdalena.

Blessings Upon a Throne of Tyranny by Dimmu Borgir
Infecterd bij invalid behaviour
While capturing the stench of divine purefaction
Confess to slavery for the world saviour
Give praise and inhale the corruption
(chorus
The Enfeebled provides the fool
The Disabled provides the tool
The Apathtic demands the affection
To those suffering from their own satisfaction
Devour in self-deceit, conjure the righteous plage, testify today's contradiction, glorify tomorrows deed
Inconceivable moral priest, hide in preferable dress, invite to another pleasure feast, the concealment of joyful laughter
The decrepit innocence of your correctness and well-chosen
Elicitss the source of the need for immediate forgiveness
Submit to no grace but the spiteful of your disease
Apply to join the unlimited grace and a settlement in the skies
And turn the confusion among your children into self-stimulation
The incarnation of your prostitution, the true Evil in disguise
With the ignorance from your cross as the witness, the thruth of your tragedy make you justice
In your mirror the high spirit of kindness looks like malice
Condemnation of life by the living dead, what a premature judgement, contradiction to the core
How unfortunate I am, cursed to spend time on a battle already won
The shame that will be guarding your grave says it all, retreat to the crypt and make it worhwhile
Recall my sins furthermore but still be watching yours with a smile
Hellbound by Pantera
Eliminate, the life decline...
I've paid the masters with blood and hunger
...And it's not for sale by any stretch
It's like religion without a Bible
And the dragon lives inside of my mouth
And it speaks in tongues, the word...
Hellbound - in Ft. Worth, Texas
Hellbound - Ft. Worth
Snakes, in Southern flames
To bring the thunder; the great decider
Would you believe in this or the ash?
I do believe it, it's taking over...
Accept
Hellbound - in Ft. Worth, Texas
Hellbound - Ft. Worth
Born to a world so young and proud
But over your head hangs a black cloud
Grow your hair and crawl inside yourself
Cause there you cannot hide
Facing fears you'll overcome
And one of these years you know you've won
Hellbound - in Ft. Worth
Hellbound - Ft. Worth
Tortured SOul Asylum by Cradle of Filth
Oh, sweet Midian
I burn for thee at heart
Don't despair
Come bare me on wings of graveyard robbed leather
To where pleasure rings deep secrets
In spurts after dark..."
Under full moons waxing lyrically
Death's poetry floods the soul
Like the freezing seed of a demon freed
To curse the stars with vertigo
And in their dance, in trance I've prised wide
Slick rifts twixt obsidian thighs
Hymeneal gates to darker sides
A glimpse of plinths where Midian lies
Midian...
Haunted by this portent
This obsession in my mind
With a city sunk below
Tall cedar groves and graves sublime
Sporting their importance
Marble wings spread to the skies
A vale of dreams that it would seem
The daylights race to leave behind
These visions struck like a furious ****
Nailing wet lips to cold cemetery walls
Flashes of lust to dust
Splashed across my psychic pall
As hybrid lovers reached their cusp
With final thrusts I saw it all
Forbidden Midian
A long fabled Judecca
A sanctuary for sin...
To rival Heaven
Free of Eden's tragic wreck
(Though the only Angels in repose
Were those with ivy strangled necks)
Small mercies in vistas of dolmen and vault
Gaunt, haunched edifices
Midst lightfingered mists
From whence more awful shadows
Drew back rusted bolts
And dared a threshold
The searing Sun had knelt to kiss
Shades of dusk, cruelty and myth
The Tribes of Christ will not forgive
And shall not suffer their kind to live
For I, mesmerized, started not from tombs
Or their waltz so sibilant
Through the gathering gloom
But from flumes of the moon in bloom
Baring cach a face effaced
And raped in the womb
In hidden Midian
A vatican lying in state
For the sanctity of sin...
To rival Heaven
Above Eden's birth defects
Though the only Angels that arose
Were those who fell to most requests
Small mercies in vistas where dolmen and vault
Caught twisted whispers where fisted sisters
Haunched, flaunted orifice
Midst lighter fingered mists
Whilst I watched without revolt
Carnalities few beasts permit
Between the dog and wolf
Bared fangs met in intercourse
A nightly rite of teeth and ****
For those below who rose to hunt
Sor sights that preyed on Me for days
And in laudenum's haze
I painted them all...
The slew of sith and kin
I drew in blood, my veins in thrall
To Deathugees at peace within
(An underworld free of Mortal rule)
Crotesques and wolves in womens skins
The raven winged and missing limbed
Suicides and split thighed Seraphim
And marble stairs
Stargrazers dare
Ascend like prayer
(As smoke or ghost or lithe nightmares)
Under fullmoons waxing lyrically
Death's poetry floods the soul
Like the recking weed of a demon freed
To curse the star with vertigo
And in their dance, in trance I prise wide
Slick rifts twixt obsidian thighs
Hymeneal gates to other sides
A labyrinth wherein Midian hides
Midian...
I know I've seen
Through the blackbacked mirrors in sanity
Lucent prides amassed in last retreat
Prurient souls but no more freaks
Than those leashing dreams at harm's length from Me
And just like grim ascension prophecies
My revenge, carved deep, will be
A grisly plot that reads
Like my filthy white ward spattered with their screams
When My Deviliverers come from fog for Me...
Exhuming the moon
Through the bars in My room
The sooner the bitter pills swallowed are through...
But no Genobites rise to claim Me for you
No! No! No!
Don't leave here in this storm weathered cell
No! No! No!
With prophets and losses
And dead men from crosses
My fate is a preview of derelict Hell

All Along The Watchtower
Jimi Hendrix
Written by Bob Dylan
"There must be some way out of here," said the joker to the thief,
"There's too much confusion, I can't get no relief.
Businessmen, they drink my wine, plowmen dig my earth,
None of them along the line know what any of it is worth."
"No reason to get excited," the thief, he kindly spoke,
"There are many here among us who feel that life is but a joke.
But you and I, we've been through that, and this is not our fate,
So let us not talk falsely now, the hour is getting late."
All along the watchtower, princes kept the view
While all the women came and went, barefoot servants, too.
Outside in the distance a wildcat did growl,
Two riders were approaching, the wind began to howl.

Living without dignity?
Metallica - one
I Can't Remember Anything
Can't Tell If this Is True or Dream
Deep down Inside I Feel to Scream
this Terrible Silence Stops Me
Now That the War Is Through with Me
I'm Waking up I Can Not See
That There Is Not Much Left of Me
Nothing Is Real but Pain Now
Hold My Breath as I Wish for Death
Oh Please God,wake Me
Back in the Womb its Much Too Real
in Pumps Life That I must Feel
but Can't Look Forward to Reveal
Look to the Time When I'll Live
Fed Through the Tube That Sticks in Me
Just like a Wartime Novelty
Tied to Machines That Make Me Be
Cut this Life off from Me
Hold My Breath as I Wish for Death
Oh Please God,wake Me
Now the World Is Gone I'm Just One
Oh God,help Me Hold My Breath as I Wish for Death
Oh Please God Help Me
Darkness
Imprisoning Me
All That I See
Absolute Horror
I Cannot Live
I Cannot Die
Trapped in Myself
Body My Holding Cell
Landmine
Has Taken My Sight
Taken My Speech
Taken My Hearing
Taken My Arms
Taken My Legs
Taken My Soul
Left Me with Life in Hell

Bein' Green
van morrison
It's not easy bein' green
Having to spend each day the color of the leaves
When I think it could be nicer bein' red or yellow or gold
Or something much more colorful like that
It's not easy bein' green
It seems you blend in with so many other ordinary things
And people tend to pass you over
'Cause you're not standing out like flashy sparkles
On the water or stars in the sky
But green is the color of spring
And green can be cool and friendly like
And green can be big like an ocean
Or important like a mountain or tall like a tree
When green is all there is to be
It could make you wonder why
But why wonder, why wonder?
I am green and it'll do fine, it's beautiful
And I think it's what I want to be
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
I Can Only Give You Everything
van morrison
I can't give you more than what I've got
I can't expect to give what I have not
I-I-I can only give ya lovin' 'till the sun goes down
And, until the leaves of summer turn to shades of brown
I try and I try
But baby, you know that I
Can only give you evra'thing
I can't argue with you to a-understand
'Cause afterall, I am just a man
A you-ooo-ooo are on my mind
When stars appear and shadows fall
And when ev'ra little flower close
And no birds call
I try and I try
But baby, you know that I
Can only give you evra'thing
(Instrumental)
I'll do anything you want me to do
'Cause I don't want to know there's life without you
Ooh, ooh, ooh,
Don't ever go and leave me in this world alone
I-I-I'd be like a little child if I was on my own
I try and I try
But baby you know that I
Can only give you evra'thing
Evra'thing, baby
A little bit of this, a little bit of that
And evra'thing
Ooh, ooh, ooh
FADES
Ooh, ooh, ooh
Whoa, ooh, ooh
Whoa, ooh, ooh
Yeah, yeah, yeah
