Flubber et al
Flubber is fine with me if he is fine with everyone else.
However I can't figure out how to get a hold of Misotu so that she can issue a password to Flubber. Could one of you guys track her down?

Sheesh I never thought of that Qantaga. After Solver we sure had a good pace going. It seems as if the longer we let delays run the more likely we are to lose other players. But when people like Theohall and Levelisk who have been with us from the beginning, I think, diassapear it is hard to want to replace them. Hopefully thing will pick up now. I wonder what the success rate for completion of games is? Has Misotu responded? Has Flubber been notified of his acceptance?

I check in here from time to time but so far have not seen a password from misotu or a game turn. I will play as soon as I get them and you will find I am reasonably fast on the game turnaround

Ah and can somebody let me know the rules you folks are using. Is it apolyton tourney version or do you allow using stockpile in the queue, design upgrades before moving, communication before meeting etc. ??

I still have not received a turn so I have emailed Viratio. Perhaps with the long delay he is not checking this thread regularly

Turn sent to Flubber.
Welcome Flubber and Darsnan. If my memory serves me well CBN sounds familiar. Was that in ACT028?
BTW, SE is NOT allowed.

2145 to SITS
well I played under the cbn moniker in AXT028 as a replacement-- it was my first ever smax game-- I have never played a straight SMAC tourney game as they all have been SMAX so far. I switched names when I moved and could not remember the password for the cbn identity LOL.
and stockpile is NOT allowed thanks

Hello everyone!
As most of you know, the Apolyton servers took a big crash last fall, so the original game threads for No AI are gone. With all of the new players in the game, I sent a note to Misotu asking for our original game settings. We've already talked about the rules for the game in the thread above, but I thought you might be interested in the settings, too. Here they are:
Map size: Large
Map settings: Average cloud, life, erosion. 30-50% ocean
Difficulty level: Transcend
Starting techs, energy, units etc: Standard, no extra techs or units
Other settings:
All victories on, except for co-op
Do or die: on
Look first: on
Tech stag: off
Spoils of war: off
Blind research: off
No unity survey - world map not visible
Pods: on
Random events: off
Please note especially that co-op victories have been turned OFF. Of course, you can still have partnerships in the game, just remember that there will eventually be only one winner. Of course, if we keep replacing players, that might come around the turn of Earth year 2010.
