Never jerked off WHILE writing a song...... requires too much dexterity.

Like the whole hand in circles round your head, patting your belly.

Mind you.... I can do that.....

I dunno... I thought this WAS in poor taste. Not a Smiths fan so I never heard the song.

There are people here who do air out their problems, or tragedies. This is just cruel, and spits in their face.

Would I be beaten if I say Oasis and then go on to note that two of the Beatles are still alive?

---------------------

Always Look on the Bright Side of Life

Cheer up, Brian. You know what they say.
Some things in life are bad,
They can really make you mad.
Other things just make you swear and curse.
When you're chewing on life's gristle,
Don't grumble, give a wistle!
And this'll help things turn out for the best...
And...

(the music fades into the song)

...always look on the bright side of life!
(whistle)

Always look on the bright side of life...
If life seems jolly rotten,
There's something you've forgotten!
And that's to laugh and smile and dance and sing,

When you're feeling in the dumps,
Don't be silly chumps,
Just purse your lips and whistle -- that's the thing!
And... always look on the bright side of life...

(whistle)
Come on!

(other start to join in)
Always look on the bright side of life...
(whistle)

For life is quite absurd,
And death's the final word.
You must always face the curtain with a bow!
Forget about your sin -- give the audience a grin,
Enjoy it -- it's the last chance anyhow!

So always look on the bright side of death!
Just before you draw your terminal breath.
Life's a piece of ****,
When you look at it.

Life's a laugh and death's a joke, it's true,
You'll see it's all a show,
Keep 'em laughing as you go.
Just remember that the last laugh is on you!

And always look on the bright side of life...
(whistle)
Always look on the bright side of life
(whistle)

Come on guys, cheer up

Always look on the bright side of life...

Always look on the bright side of life...

Worse things happen at sea you know

Always look on the bright side of life...

I mean--what have you got to lose?
you know, you come from nothing
-you're going back to nothing
what have you lost? Nothing!

Always look on the bright side of life...
(fade out)

Lostprophets, Hundred Reasons, and Silverginger 5 are my favourite current Brit bands. There are a lot of good bands about at the moment, they aren't getting exported or even promoted all that well in this counry very well though.

Then there is Radiohead, Blur, Gorrilaz, Oasis of course and a load of dance stuff.

Or, if you want utter noise, Raging Speedhorn might be what you want. But I can understand perfectly well if it's not exactly what you had in mind... I agree with MikeH on Lostprophets, and for the rest, most of the good British bands I know are a bit older.
