War

Rome - a nation of love and peace - has been assulted by the babarian Welsh hoardes.

We call upon our neighbours - specially our Canadian neighbour - to make the strongest protest against the aggressors and we apology, that we have been forced to break a no-trespass agreement, but we need to retake the city of Hispalis before the Welsh makes it a base for raids into the center of Rome...... or perhaps into Canada. Who knows when they are able to start a war without any reasons and without any warnings.

Rome has until this moment been an example of a loyal and peacefull neighbour.

Most of the Roman homeland is now raided, conquered or burnt by the welsh babarians. We - the honest Romans - regrets, that we supported the Welsh at an earlier stage of their evil existence. We regret, that we trusted them so much, that we even did make a mapexchange with them. We regret so much........

You attacked Rome in the year 1070 (turn 105) with cavs. You must have paid lots of gold for those mercenaries as you shouldn't have had any knowledge of these before year 1065 (turn 104) according to your socalled prof - your false map

It also seems to me like the Welsh army had gone from alert (according to the status of the warrior) to war in only 3 turns - the cavs that took the undefended Roman city of Palmyra was ready for war

I am not telling you (flameflash) what to do because I do not really know all the protocals here for being a moderator so please do not be offended and feel free to explain it to me and put me in my place if I over-step. you know I think if I was the moderator I would look at what was said here even if I wasn't asked. As a player in this game I would like to know what really happened here. I need to know who's word I can trust and who's I can't. Normally I would figure the real story is somewhere in between, but here we have two totally opposite stories. I have the romans to the north of me and the welsh to the south. I figure I am going to need to deal with both of them in the future, so i would like to know the real story here and I would like for the moderator to tell me if someone is lying. Since both leveled the accusation at each other; I think we as players in this game should know the answer to the question: "who lied"? Maybe I am over stepping my place here and maybe one of them is going to "get me" for speaking up, but I would like to know. Ken/dancemasseuse

And who says this game isn't realistic? Sounds like a real world situation to me! Governments accuse each other of lies all the time. As a leader, that's up to you to decide. (Or if you want to be more like your real life counterparts, then who is right is irrelevent. The more important question is which side will best advance my position )
