Gian, I don't quite know where all the communism=gay comes from. As far as i know, someone like Stalin wasn't particularly gentle on homosexuals.

I remember something very similar happened to my brother. he had a already tender throat for, a chip caught in the irritated area, he had a sudden burst of pain, had a basal-vagal reaction, fainted, and fell into his Mexican food.
No choking involved, just the pain.
