Thanx Hobbes! I'm a technician at a company that makes Microwave equipment componentry, and unfortunately I am now forced to trim a couple of games from my portfolio, including this one.
To All,
I recently have taken a job, and now find it impossible to keep up with all of my games. Therefore immediately Mongoose will be taking my position in this game. His E-Mail address is: jeffrey.nader@verizon.net Please forward all future turns to him.
Also, sorry about having to back out here, but if I tried to stay on, turnage would suffer unnecessarily long delays in this as well as my other games. FYI.

Hello everyone! *yargh*
I am anxious to open the game up and see how it is progressing, awaiting password.

Still waiting for password from Googlie, I emailed him requesting it. Also the save file I received from Hobbes could not be unizipped.
Oh and one question... does one merely download the cloned factions and install them in the alpha centauri folder? Will I be able to just load the scenario without problems?

I think you can just fire it up, Hen? (lol) When Darsnan sent me an old turn for examination, I was able to do just that.

I have Darsnan's 2212 save. I don't recall if it's before or after it was played. I do know that I have opened it a couple of times to look around and see what's up with this game. I'll play it and pass it along, but there are probably going to be replay warnings for me. (unless I've played so many other turns between then and now that the first opening is forgotten)
Hope that's alright. If it isn't, we'll have to see if D kept his outgoing file.

Well, the save I have is unplayed, so I am playing it now. If this isn't satisfactory, tell me before I spend I don't know how long doing so! Absent any protest, I'll be passing this along in about an hour, I should think.

2212 sent to H0bbes
Curious...the opening post of the initial thread for this game says it's at Transcend level. I am at Librarian...just made a SE change for 24 ec. How about the rest of you?

I recieved the turn and was able to unzip it... however I still have not received the password from Googlie. I emailed him yesterday asking for it.
By the way, since I tried opening the game without having the password it will say that it has been tampered with
Can't wait to crack open this game and see what a "favorable position" is!
I haven't sent a normal email to Googlie, I sent an email through the apolyton forums thing... I do not have his actual email address.

Wait a minute!! Did H0bbes, replay with the turn I sent, or were you able to open the original save? If the latter, I am quite put out about the hour I spent (and will bloody have to repeat!) in playing the 2212.
