That often happens to me when I lack available memory. And you run out of memory whenever you keep your computer running for days and use software which allocate your memory. I don't think Windows knows how to reallocate memory. So you have to boot once in a while...I hate that.

Yep, I leave my computer on 24/7. Memory issues might come into play... incredible, really. I had to downgrade from IE 6 to IE 5.5 (which required reinstallation of WindowsME) so that it wouldn't interfere with my MSN Messenger... all Microsoft... but this isn't the place to discuss them.
So, one of my evil bases is named Microsoft.
