Yeah, absolutely - Civ3's a pretty poor effort after all that, so it looks like SMAC all the way. Hope the CGN challenge sufficiently satisfies your craving, anyway (though the vet league could do with a player or two... )

Naw - I got special dispensation from Markos - they were (are) all pseudonyms for Spartan Chronicles characters and the different DL's indicated which character was "writing" at that time.

Besides that I feel exactly like you on civ3, though I tried a lot harder to like it I just have a hard time with it.
