last april MtG "quit" and his wife took over for a while. she closed a thread because it made fun of cats. and declared that anyone who spole ill of cats would get banned. hence AH had a line in his sig for a while that said he hated cats.

I do think it is a little unfair that many of the posters who were here several years ago got to spam there way to Empirer on the OT while the rest of us actually have to work for our posts.

Also how many of the play 100 haven't signed on in the last year? I know there are more then a few people on the list who've made "I'm leaving and not coming back thread". Wouldn't it be better to keep the 'poly 100 list filled with currently active posters and eliminate the long dead alaises?

I don't know about elimination, but there has to be some measure of activity. Either drop them as Oerdin suggests, but only if they haven't posted in a generous amount of time, or mark them in some other way if they haven't posted in the last month.

When you registered here, DrSpike, avatars were still a novelty. At that point they had only been here 3, 4 months or so...
