Well, these are entirely different cases for one, dipshit.
It was PATENTLY OBVIOUS who the medal should have gone to. There were allegations and then admissions of collusion that came.
In this case, an event that is not uncommon in the least (a giant pileup) occurs, and one skater gets the medal. If you knew anything about the sport, you'd know that this is NOT abnormal and is well within sport rules.
When judges collude, that's NOT within sport rules. That's why everyone was whining (coincidentally, the American press made a bigger deal out of it than the Canadian press but I'll let that slide).
