Same song, first in its natural language, then in English. One of the most beautiful things I've ever heard.
Con te partirò
Andrea Bocelli
Quando sono solo
sogno all'orizzonte
e mancan le parole,
sì lo so che non c'è luce
in una stanza quando manca il sole,
se non ci sei tu con me.
Su le finestre
mostra a tutti il mio cuore
che hai acceso,
chiudi dentro me
la luce che
hai incontrato per strada.
Con te partirò,
paesi che non ho mai
veduto e vissuto con te,
adesso sì li vivrò.
Con te partirò
su navi per mari
che, io lo so,
no, no, non esistono più,
con te io li vivrò.
Quando sei lontana
sogno all'orizzonte
e mancan le parole,e io sì lo so
che sei con me,
tu mia luna tu sei qui con me,
mio sole tu sei con me.
Con te partirò,
paesi che non ho mai
veduto e vissuto con te,
adesso sì li vivrò.
Con te partirò
su navi per mari
che, io lo so,
no, no, non esistono più,
con te io li rivivrò.
Con te partirò
su navi per mari
che, io lo so,
no, no, non esistono più,
con te io li rivivrò.
Con te partirò,
io con te...
I'll Go With You
Andrea Bocelli
When I'm alone
I dream on the horizon
and words fail;
yes, I know there is no light
in a room where the sun is absent,
if you are not with me.
At the windows
show everyone my heart
which you set alight;
enclose within me
the light you
encountered on the street.
I'll go with you,
to countries I never
saw and shared with you,
now, yes, I shall experience them.
I'll go with you
on ships across seas
which, I know,
no, no, exist no longer;
with you I shall experience them.
When you are far away
I dream on the horizon
and words fail,
and, yes, I know
that you are with me;
you, my moon, are here with me,
my sun, you are here with me.
I'll go with you,
to countries I never
saw and shared with you,
now, yes, I shall experience them.
I'll go with you
on ships across seas
which, I know,
no, no, exist no longer;
with you I shall experience them again.
I'll go with you
on ships across seas
which, I know,
no, no, exist no longer;
with you I shall experience them again.
I'll go with you,
I with you...

Enya - Orinoco Flow
Let me sail, let me sail, let the orinoco flow
Let me reach, let me beach on the shores of Tripoli
Let me sail, let me sail, let me crash upon your shore
Let me reach, let me beach far beyond the Yellow Sea
From Bissau to Palau - in the shade of Avalon
From Fiji to Tiree and the Isles of Ebony
From Peru to Cebu hear the power of Babylon
From Bali to Cali - far beneath the Coral Sea
From the North to the South, Ebudae into Khartoum
From the deep sea of Clouds to the island of the moon
Carry me on the waves to the lands I've never been
Carry me on the waves to the lands I've never seen
We can sail, we can sail...
We can steer, we can near with Rob Dickens at the wheel
We can sigh, say goodbye Ross and his dependencies
We can sail, we can sail...

Music by Henry Mancini
with lyrics by Al Stillman ,1963
( I Love You )
Don't You Forget It
I love you an' don't you forget it,
I love you an' don't you forget it,
I love you an' don't you forget it, baby!
Love me too an' you won't regret it,
Love me too an' you won't regret it,
Love me too an' you won't regret it, baby!
I love you an' don't you forget it,
I love you an' don't you forget it,
I love you an' don't you forget it, baby!
I love you an' don't you forget it,
That makes seven times that I've said it,
I don't see how you can forget it now!
I love you in the springtime,
I love you in the fall,
I love you at a party,
We always have a ball!
And when you're in my arms dear,
I love you most of all . . .
In the morning an' in the evening,
An' when it's cloudy or clear,
I'm in love with you, so in love with you,
Every day of the year!
I love you an' don't you forget it,
I love you an' don't you forget it,
I love you an' nun't you forget it, baby!
Love me too an' you won't regret it,
Love me too an' you won't regret it,
Love me too an' you won't regret it, baby!
I love you an' don't you forget it,
I love you an' don't you forget it,
I love you an' don't you forget it, baby!
I love you an' don't you forget it,
That makes twenty times that I've said it,
I don't see how you can forget it now!
[ pause ]
I love you an' don't you forget it,
There, that's one more time that I've said it,
I don't see how you can forget it now!

Fly Me to the Moon
Words and Music by Bart Howard
Fly Me to the Moon,
And let me play among the stars.
Let me see what spring is like,
On Jupiter and Mars.
In other words, hold my hand,
In other words, darling kiss me.
Fill my heart with song,
And let me sing forever more,
You are all I long for,
All I worship and adore,
In other words, please be true,
In other words, I love you.

Bernadette
The Four Tops
Written by Holland- Dozier- Holland
Bernadette, people are searchin' for
the kind of love that we possess.
Some go on searchin' their whole life through
and never find the love I've found in you.
And when I speak of you I see envy in other men's eyes,
and I'm well aware of what's on their minds.
They pretend to be my friend, when all the time
they long to persuade you from my side.
They'd give the world and all they own
for just one moment we have known.
Bernadette, they want you because of the pride that gives,
But Bernadette, I want you because I need you to live.
But while I live only to hold you,
Some other men, they long to control you.
But how can they control you Bernadette,
when they can not control themselves, Bernadette,
from wanting you, needing you,
But darling you belong to me.
I'll tell the world you belong to me,
I'll tell the world, you're the soul of me,
I'll tell the world you're a part of me.
In your arms I find the kind of peace of mind
the world is searching for,
But you, you give me the joy this heart of mine
has always been longing for.
In you I have what other men long for.
All men need someone to worship and adore,
that's why I treasure you and place you high above,
for the only joy in life is to be loved.
So whatever you do, Bernadette, keep on loving me,
Bernadette, keep on needing me,
Bernadette.

Maybelline - Chuck Berry
Maybelline, why can't you be true?
Oh Maybelline, why can't you be true?
You've started back doing the things you used to do
As I was motivatin' over the hill
I saw Maybelline in a coup de ville
A Cadillac a-rollin' on the open road
Nothin' will outrun my V8 Ford
The cadillac doin' 'bout ninety-five
She's bumper to bumber rollin' side by side
Maybelline, why can't you be true?
Oh Maybelline, why can't you be true?
You've started back doing the things you used to do
Pink in the mirror on top of the hill
It's just like swallowin' up a medicine pill
First thing I saw that Cadillac grille
Doin' a hundred and ten gallopin' over that hill
Offhill curve, a downhill stretch
Me and that Cadillac neck by neck
Maybelline, why can't you be true?
Oh Maybelline, why can't you be true?
You've started back doing the things you used to do
The Cadillac pulled up ahead of the Ford
The Ford got hot and wouldn't do no more
It then got cloudy and it started to rain
I tooted my horn for a passin' lead
The rain water blowin' all under my hood
I knew that was doin' my motor good
Maybelline, why can't you be true?
Oh Maybelline, why can't you be true?
You've started back doing the things you used to do
The motor cooled down, the heat went down
And that's when I heard that highway sound
The Cadillac a-sittin' like a ton of lead
A hundred and ten a half a mile ahead
The Cadillac lookin' like it's sittin' still
And I caught Maybelline at the top of the hill
Maybelline, why can't you be true?
Oh Maybelline, why can't you be true?
You've started back doing the things you used to do
Ridiculous Thoughts - The Cranberries
(Possibly the best film clip of all time, IMMHO, for my own evil reasons )
Twister. Does anyone see through you
You're a twister an animal
But you're happy now
I didn't go along with you
So happy now
But you're going to have to hold on
Hold on
Or we're going to have to move on
Move on
I feel alright
And I cried so hard
The ridiculous thoughts
I feel alright
Twister. I shouldn't have trusted you
Twister. It's not going to happen no
You re not going to make fun of me
Happen no
But you re going to have to hold on
You re going to have to hold on
Hold on
Or we're going to have to move on
Move on
I feel alright
And I cried so hard
The ridiculous thoughts
I feel alright
I should have lied
And I cried so hard
The ridiculous thoughts
I should ha' lied
But you re gonna have to hold on
Hold on
but you're gonna have to hold on to me
Political Science- Randy Newman
No one likes us-I don't know why
We may not be perfect, but heaven knows we try
But all around, even our old friends put us down
Let's drop the big one and see what happens
We give them money-but are they grateful?
No, they're spiteful and they're hateful
They don't respect us-so let's surprise them
We'll drop the big one and pulverize them
Asia's crowded and Europe's too old
Africa is far too hot
And Canada's too cold
And South America stole our name
Let's drop the big one
There'll be no one left to blame us
We'll save Australia
Don't wanna hurt no kangaroo
We'll build an All American amusement park there
They got surfin', too
Boom goes London and boom Paree
More room for you and more room for me
And every city the whole world round
Will just be another American town
Oh, how peaceful it will be
We'll set everybody free
You'll wear a Japanese kimono
And there'll be Italian shoes for me
They all hate us anyhow
So let's drop the big one now
Let's drop the big one now
The Milkman Of Human Kindness- Billy Bragg
If you're lonely, I will call
If you're poorly, I will send poetry
I love you
I am the milkman of human kindness
I will leave an extra pint
If you're sleeping, I will wait
If your bed is wet, I will dry your tears
I love you
I am the milkman of human kindness
I will leave an extra pint
Hold my hand for me I'm waking up
Hold my hand for me I'm waking up
Hold my hand for me I'm making up
Won't you hold my hand - I'm making up
If you are falling, I'll put out my hands
If you feel bitter, I will understand
I love you
I am the milkman of human kindness
I will leave an extra pint
The Band Played Waltzing Matilda - Eric Bogle
When I was a young man I carried my pack
And I lived the free life of a rover
From the Murrays green basin to the dusty outback
I waltzed my Matilda all over
Then in nineteen fifteen my country said Son
It's time to stop rambling 'cause there's work to be done
So they gave me a tin hat and they gave me a gun
And they sent me away to the war
And the band played Waltzing Matilda
As we sailed away from the quay
And amidst all the tears and the shouts and the cheers
We sailed off to Gallipoli
How well I remember that terrible day
How the blood stained the sand and the water
And how in that hell that they called Suvla Bay
We were butchered like lambs at the slaughter
Johnny Turk he was ready, he primed himself well
He chased us with bullets, he rained us with shells
And in five minutes flat he'd blown us all to hell
Nearly blew us right back to Australia
But the band played Waltzing Matilda
As we stopped to bury our slain
We buried ours and the Turks buried theirs
Then we started all over again
Now those that were left, well we tried to survive
In a mad world of blood, death and fire
And for ten weary weeks I kept myself alive
But around me the corpses piled higher
Then a big Turkish shell knocked me arse over ***
And when I woke up in my hospital bed
And saw what it had done, I wished I was dead
Never knew there were worse things than dying
For no more I'll go waltzing Matilda
All around the green bush far and near
For to hump tent and pegs, a man needs two legs
No more waltzing Matilda for me
So they collected the cripples, the wounded, the maimed
And they shipped us back home to Australia
The armless, the legless, the blind, the insane
Those proud wounded heroes of Suvla
And as our ship pulled into Circular Quay
I looked at the place where my legs used to be
And thank Christ there was nobody waiting for me
To grieve and to mourn and to pity
And the band played Waltzing Matilda
As they carried us down the gangway
But nobody cheered, they just stood and stared
Then turned all their faces away
And now every April I sit on my porch
And I watch the parade pass before me
And I watch my old comrades, how proudly they march
Reliving old dreams of past glory
And the old men march slowly, all bent, stiff and sore
The forgotten heroes from a forgotten war
And the young people ask, "What are they marching for?"
And I ask myself the same question
And the band plays Waltzing Matilda
And the old men answer to the call
But year after year their numbers get fewer
Some day no one will march there at all
Waltzing Matilda, Waltzing Matilda
Who'll come a waltzing Matilda with me
And their ghosts may be heard as you pass the Billabong
Who'll come-a-waltzing Matilda with me?

Rock and Roll Waltz
-Artist: Kay Starr
-the # 16 song of the 1955-1959 rock era
-was # 1 for 6 weeks in 1956
-Words by Roy Alfred and Music by Shorty Allen
One night I was late, came home from a date
Slipped out of my shoes at the door
Then from the front room, I heard a jump tune
I looked in and here's what I saw
There in the night what a wonderful scene
Mom was dancing with Dad to my record machine
And while they danced, only one thing was wrong
They were trying to waltz to a rock and roll song!
a-one, two, and then rock
a-one, two, and then roll
They did the rock and roll waltz
a-rock, two, three, a-roll, two, three
It looked so cute to me
I love the rock and roll waltz
a-one, two, and then rock
a-one, two, and then roll
a-one, two, and then jump
It's good for your soul
It's old but it's new
Let's do the rock and roll waltz
There in the night what a wonderful scene
Mom was dancing with Dad to my record machine
And while they danced, only one thing was wrong
They were trying to waltz to a rock and roll song!
a-one, two, and then rock
a-one, two, and then roll
a-one, two, and then jump
It's good for your soul
It's old but it's new
Let's do the rock and roll waltz
Let's do the rock and roll waltz

Father Bizzy Bone
(Chorus)
How many friends will we see die? (Why we so scared cause it's war everywhere)
How many friends will we see cry? (It's war everywhere)
How many friends will we see try? (Why we so scared cause it's war everywhere)
How many friends will we see die? (It's war everywhere)
All we need is a little love, and someone standing for the little cubs
And I see brutality all over niggas killin' niggas
The ghetto got them being born to be killas
Flooded with drugs and tryin to get us, so get up
But don't give up, ya'll gotta sit up
If you last before they kill us
And the guerillas, try come kill us
Pillage the village and we'll be winna
I love it when niggas the way we took it to another level
So many rebels doing the best **** forever remembered
And in the killing fields, everybody's locked up
And good niggas getting shot up da dadan dada
Mind if I say something for mine
Cause it's about time, to get serious
A mysterious time, blind melons
It ain't no telling, if the willing
Will stop chillin', then help the children
Turning them out, then burning them out
Like morphine, waters getting shallow
It's over and over the gallow
A president in the drop, it's on now though
The end of life, for now so
I think it's the ozone, bad to the bone bone
Mother Nature be long gone
And don't nobody wanna do nothing but speculate
And all they worried about their own
Wrote a song for the future
Millenium, I'm in, I'm hopeing it don't last untill we all past
Living in the stars, looking through grass
Aboard the enterprise, recognize this, in the course of a da-da-da-da-da-da-day
And thats the way we sing, thats the way we play
that's the way they . . now and
[Chorus 2X]
Still got bombs from the cold war, radioactive
And the critics, they wont take action
They want us to repo this to your satisfaction
But while they build more, computers keep crashing
What about felling, pestilence dammit
How do we manage to keep standing
Living in a legacy of bitterness
With the epitimy of vigorous trips on the ships we were crammed in, slammed in
Other man and them, why don't we demanding our damn money
If we can't get forty acres and a mule, let a nigga get a range rover
**** you got time you, I'm still waiting on a canoe, but it will never come
I don't even know where I come from or where I'm gonna go to
I'm headed to the mother land, but will I be accepted by the brotha man?
Awww me so confused, with nothing to gain and everything to lose, choose
The righteous and the high, look in the eyes and realize the lies
Family ties, but not even for the have-nots
Who the enemy? It ain't me. It ain't even the police
Unless they trippin', and use that authority and start flippin', flippin'
Leaving dead bodies, and with them *****in' hotties
That poppin' the collar, my god I'm horny, ride shotty
And tellin' the kids that ain't the way to live properly
Get yo monopoly and get your own property
And that's the way we sing, and that's the way we play
and that's the way they . . . now and
[Chorus 2X]
Ooooh and the daddies and momma forgivin' so we can live with us
And all the runaways get off the bus
Kids, put the guns down, come down
If the rest build a bridge with us, it gotta get better than this
It's head of the risk, shoulda been poor, and I been rich
Lost so many friends to the war ****, caution
When I get to walkin', and it's mobbin', nigga in a crypt
Life is a fight to the street life, tonight
I might go meet the reaper, and I will give him a hug
And tell him "Thug luv won and I'm so glad to meet ya"
And that's the way we sing, and that's the way we play
and that's the way they . . . now and
[Chorus to fade]
Time Passing Us By Bizzy Bone
As time keep passin' us by in my community
Wathcin' the children die
***** made police, and the brutality
Prozac and Ritalin, that aint what we need
And wonder why our children keep smokin' weed
(Bizzy)
Take a look into the gun, look at what we've become
Daddy don't love me, only come around the first of the month
Me and mommy still in the slump
Why don't he love us?
I can't even blame him
Cause ever since I came
We been stuck in the same ghetto
Now i'm carryin' heavy metal when times is tough
I don't know about ya neighborhood, but baby, mines is rough
Abandand buildings police searchin' all the children
Ain't no peace in the streets, at least not where i'm livin'
Kneeling to God cause Satan never gave us a chance
Evil never had no rythm, man, the Devils can't dance
Got three pairs of pants
But I keep em all creased
Whether chicken or ham, we gon' use the same grease
Each second is a struggle, beg, borrow or hustle
Yeah, scufflin' money just try to stay out of trouble
Hell, rebel of rap music, put it on my mama!
And if it's gonna be gunplay, rocket launchers, grenades, and AKs!
(Chorus - repeat 2X)
As time keep passin' us by in my community
Wathcin' the children die
*****made police, and the brutality
Prozac and Ritalin, that aint what we need
And wonder why our children keep smokin' weed
(Bizzy)
Why is the broad on my back like that?
Don't ask me, i'm for passion, i'm smashin' on niggas, come blast me!
All my people tellin' me I should sing more
Yes!
Roll up a dub, smoke bud in the club
Free Flesh!
Creepin' on a come up, i'm from Cleveland, and Columbus, Ohio
Don't hate myself for science, and the ??
Yet all these niggas gangbang
Somebody should tell em the truth
I'll sell em somethin' that'll get they heart to pumpin',
and help the youth!
Hangin' in the graveyard, everybody's playin' hard
Satan's on a mission to get us
I hope that nobody with us, and given us slave ways
Ruthless got us on fifty dollars a day
One hundred and ninety thousand I guess platinum don't pay
Can I please get some mo' money?
Somebody could buy my way cause **** the rent's due
Glad I got ghetto credit
Don't let the industry pimp you, pimp you, pimp you
(Chorus - repeat 2X)
As time keep passin' us by in my community
Wathcin' the children die
***** made police, and the brutality
Prozac and Ritalin, that aint what we need
And wonder why our children keep smokin' weed
(Bizzy)
Babies born with AIDS
and we pray for them boys they hoarding the vaccine
Black helicopter rain on em, I'm gainin' on em
Maintain the main thang on em, shame on em
But another victim died of vain for em, slain
Two hundred and fifty crashed in the plane
And the only thing that survived was the black box
They frame the black cops
Slang crack rock
Wannabe Hot Boyz, so he gon' make the block hot, block hot
They wanna see me sasquash
Pull out my glock, cocked, and pop pop!
Go to jail don't nobody send you mail
Hell, i'm ridin' til these wheels fall off
Or they can take it to the chop shop
Shut up, i'm shinnin' on you bustas!
What!?
Ready to hustle get your struggle on, no!
When you wanna double up, you keep ****in' up!
Your mind's gone, time's gone, everybody's runnin' amuck
They say that lesbians is sick
But they just do wanna ****
(Chorus)x4
As time keep passin' us by in my community
Wathcin' the children die
***** made police, and the brutality
Prozac and Ritalin, that aint what we need
And wonder why our children keep smokin' weed
Before I Go Bizzy Bone
[Verse 1]
You have been sentenced to 567
I ain't even do **** what the **** WHAT!! this is bullshit
Before I go (whoooo)
Momma momma I know I'm selling this marijuana god
I do what I wanna but god they won't give me a job
I scream and I holler and even tried to stop the cops
Block my get away I know I'm selling chop chop
God when they send me away on the ten pop
Waiting for, drama cause I'm skinny
The streets may be hideous but the heat was pretty
Candy made me die tittie why when we ride
On to the nitty gritty slide on the system of lies
With me and my pride I don't think I'm gonna make it alive (what)
Cause if I do
I'm a be institute
Sugar lies thugged out ever since PAC died
I know what thugstas all about make a sacrifice for Christ
These mother****ers never could kill me twice (kill me twice)
Crack pipes on the playground playground playground playground playground
[Chorus]
Before I go to jail yall
Hell nah don't let em put me in a cell lord
Prays god now (Repeat 3X)
Before i go to jail go to jail go to jail
[Verse 2]
As I sit in this jail cell hell
Reading the mail mom sent to me
I can tell she getting weary
Where my daddy at, I don't give a (****)
Nigga don't call me when his money stack ducking to kill us everyday
Where the love at Bone Thug brand new
I always been with god, but is god with you
I keep hearing these voices
Having a hell of my choices
And telling us the poisons on my soul and hennessy was the ointment
Seeeeee, Saten still the enemy
Never been a friend of me
Especially in the fast lane
I can't pretend to be an angel when I'm only a servant
Content in service to the one and only undisputed with common courtesy
None of yall could've been worse then me, I've stoled things that I ain't proud of
I won't even mention the power
CD I was getting near it
If I die today I, I'd die a happy man god bless the family
[Chorus]
Before I go to jail yall
Hell nah don't let em put me in a cell lord
Prays god now (Repeat 3X)
Before I go to jail go to jail go to jail
[Verse 3]
Damn nobody sent me 20 dollars
And my baby's mama's fraid to kiss me
You don't miss me I don't blame her I made it to be
Family kept on dissin me
And got a letter I'm hoping to die quickly
Hoping to die swiftly
I'm going to take all these niggas with me
And keep on testing me in the water and wonder why I don't cry
Cause they stiff as me
520 years what the **** is 5 more
What am I here for cause I was blasting at the five O
Lil run and blow it up
My niggas grown up
Throwing up gang signs
And I was praying at the same time
I tell em slow it up
Hell no
And don't you wind up in this hell hold
If I can do it all again
When I becoming a man
Learning in prison
All these criminals yall don't know how the **** they living
But I ain't given up reading the bible everyday
And only god can say I can pray
[Chorus]
Before I go to jail yall
Hell nah don't let em put me in a cell lord
Prays god now (Repeat 3X)
Before I go to jail go to jail go to jail
thanks

I'll Be Your Baby Tonight
(Bob Dylan)
Close your eyes, close the door,
You don't have to worry any more.
I'll be your baby tonight.
Shut the light, shut the shade,
You don't have to be afraid.
I'll be your baby tonight.
Well, that mockingbird's gonna sail away,
We're gonna forget it.
That big, fat moon is gonna shine like a spoon,
But we're gonna let it,
You won't regret it.
Kick your shoes off, do not fear,
Bring that bottle over here.
I'll be your baby tonight.

FREE MAN IN PARIS
Joni Mitchell
"The way I see it," he said
"You just can't win it...
Everybody's in it for their own gain
You can't please 'em all
There's always somebody calling you down
I do my best
And I do good business
There's a lot of people asking for my time
They're trying to get ahead
They're trying to be a good friend of mine
I was a free man in Paris
I felt unfettered and alive
There was nobody calling me up for favors
And no one's future to decide
You know I'd go back there tomorrow
But for the work I've taken on
Stoking the star maker machinery
Behind the popular song
I deal in dreamers
And telephone screamers
Lately I wonder what I do it for
If l had my way
I'd just walk out those doors
And wander
Down the Champs Elysees
Going cafe to cabaret
Thinking how I'll feel when I find
That very good friend of mine
I was a free man in Paris
I felt unfettered and alive
Nobody was calling me up for favors
No one's future to decide
You know I'd go back there tomorrow
But for the work I've taken on
Stoking the star maker machinery
Behind the popular song.

YOU TURN ME ON, I'M A RADIO
Joni Mitchell
If you're driving into town with a dark cloud above you
Dial in the number who's bound to love you
Oh, honey, you turn me on, I'm a radio
I'm a country station, I'm a little bit corny
I'm a wild wood flower waving for you
Broadcasting tower, waving for you
And I'm sending you out this signal here
I hope you can pick it loud and clear
I know you don't like weak women, you get bored so quick
And you don't like strong women 'cause they're hip to your tricks
It's been dirty for dirty down the line
But you know I come when you whistle, when you're loving and kind.
But if you've got too many doubts
If there's no good reception for me then tune me out
Cause honey who needs the static?
It hurts the head and you wind up cracking
And the day goes dismal from "Breakfast Barney" to the sign off prayer
What a sorry face you get to wear
I'm gonna tell you again now if you're still listening there:
If you're driving into town with a dark cloud above you
Dail in the number who's bound to love you
If you're lying on the beach with the transistor going
Kick off the sandflies honey, the love's still flowing
if you head says forget it but your heart's still smoking
Call me at the station, the lines are open.

a triple faith hill
"There You'll Be"
When I think back
On these times
And the dreams
We left behind
I'll be glad 'cause
I was blessed to get
To have you in my life
When I look back
On these days
I'll look and see your face
You were right there for me
In my dreams
I'll always see your soul
Above the sky
In my heart
There will always be a place
For you for all my life
I'll keep a part
Of you with me
And everywhere I am
There you'll be
Well you showed me
How it feels
To feel the sky
Within my reach
And I always
Will remember all
The strength you
Gave to me
Your love made me
Make it through
Oh, I owe so much to you
You were right there for me
In my dreams
I'll always see your soul
Above the sky
In my heart
There will always be a place
For you for all my life
I'll keep a part
Of you with me
And everywhere I am
There you'll be
'Cause I always saw in you
My light, my strength
And I want to thank you
Now for all the ways
You were right there for me
You were right there for me
For always
In my dreams
I'll always see your soul
Above the sky
In my heart
There will always be a place
For you for all my life
I'll keep a part
Of you with me
And everywhere I am
There you'll be

"Let's Make Love"
Baby I've been drifting away
Dreaming all day
Of holding you
Touching you
The only thing I want to do
Is be with you
As close to you
As I can be
Let's make love
All night long
Until all our strength is gone
Hold on tight
Just let go
I want to feel you in my soul
Until the sun comes up
Let's make love
Oh, baby
Do you know what you do to me
Everything inside of me
Is wanting you
And needing you
I'm so in love with you
Look in my eyes
Let's get lost tonight
In each other
Let's make love
All night long
Until all our strength is gone
Hold on tight
Just let go
I want to feel you in my soul
Until the sun comes up
Let's make love
Let's make love
All night long
Until all our strength is gone
Hold on tight
Just let go
I want to feel you in my soul
Until the sun comes up
Oh, until the sun comes up
Let's make love
Oh baby, let's make love
All night long
All night long
Let's make love

"A Room In My Heart"
My heart was once just like a home
With many rooms and open doors
And I always let love in
It would change the rooms around and then
Leave them empty
'Til one by one I locked each door
And soon forgot what love was for
But I never gave up hopin'
So I left just one door open
In case you found me
So there's a room in my heart for you
If your trust has been stolen too
If you walk softly on this worn out wooden floor
And leave behind you the hurt you've had before
There's a room in my heart for you
We'll paint the walls from blue to white
And set the mood by candlelight
Together we'll keep out the cold
And I'll still be there when we're old
If you'll let me
So there's a room in my heart for you
If your trust has been stolen too
If you walk softly on this worn out wooden floor
And leave behind you the hurt you've had before
There's a room in my heart for you

Saint-Saens
Danse Mabre | Dance of Death
| Tap, tap, tap, on his violin.
Le vent d'hiver souffle, et la nuit est sombre, | The Winter wind blows, the night is dark,
Des gémissements sortent des tilleuls; | The lime-trees groan aloud;
Les squelettes blancs vont à travers l'ombre | White skeletons flit across the gloom,
Courant et sautant sous leurs grands linceuls, | Running and leaping beneath their huge shrouds.
Zig et zig et zag, chacun se trémousse, | Tap, tap, tap, everyone's astir,
On entend claquer les os des danseurs, | You hear the bones of the dancers knock,
Un couple lascif s'asseoit sur la mousse | A lustful couple sits down on the moss,
Comme pour goûter d'anciennes douceurs. | As if to savour past delights.
Zig et zig et zag, la mort continue | Tap, tap, tap, Death continues,
De racler sans fin son aigre instrument. | Endlessly scraping his shrill violin.
Un voile est tombé! La danseuse est nue! | A veil has slipped! The dancer's naked!
Son danseur la serre amoureusement. | Her partner clasps her amorously.
La dame est, dit-on, marquise ou baronne. | They say she's a baroness or marchioness,
Et le vert galant un pauvre charron - | And the callow gallant a poor cartwright.
Horreur! Et voilà qu'elle s'abandonne | Good God! And now she's giving herself,
Comme si le rustre était un baron! | As though the bumpkin were a baron!
Zig et zig et zig, quelle sarabande! | Tap, tap, tap, what a saraband!
Quels cercles de morts se donnant la main! | Circles of corpses all holding hands!
Zig et zig et zag, on voit dans la bande | Tap, tap, tap, in the throng you can see
Le roi gambader auprès du vilain! | King and peasant dancing together!
Mais psit! tout à coup on quitte la ronde, | But shh! Suddenly the dance is ended,
On se pousse, on fuit, le coq a chanté | They jostle and take flight - the **** has crowed;
Oh! La belle nuit pour le pauvre monde! | Ah! Nocturnal beauty shines on the poor!
Et vive la mort et l'égalité! | And long live death and equality!

Right. The gauntlet has been thrown down!
Joni Mitchell - Both Sides Now
Rows and flows of angel hair
And ice cream castles in the air
And feather canyons everywhere
I've looked at clouds that way
But now they only block the sun
They rain and snow on everyone
So many things I would have done
But clouds got in my way
I've looked at clouds from both sides now
From up and down, and still somehow
It's cloud illusions I recall
I really don't know clouds at all
Moons and Junes and Ferris wheels
The dizzy dancing way you feel
As ev'ry fairy tale comes real
I've looked at love that way
But now it's just another show
You leave 'em laughing when you go
And if you care, don't let them know
Don't give yourself away
I've looked at love from both sides now
From give and take, and still somehow
It's love's illusions I recall
I really don't know love at all
Tears and fears and feeling proud
To say "I love you" right out loud
Dreams and schemes and circus crowds
I've looked at life that way
But now old friends are acting strange
They shake their heads, they say I've changed
Well something's lost, but something's gained
In living every day
I've looked at life from both sides now
From win and lose and still somehow
It's life's illusions I recall
I really don't know life at all
I've looked at life from both sides now
From up and down, and still somehow
It's life's illusions I recall
I really don't know life at all
Joni Mitchell - That Song About The Midway
I met you on a midway at a fair last year
And you stood out like a ruby in a black man's ear
You were playing on the horses, you were playing on the guitar strings
You were playing like a devil wearing wings, wearing wings
You looked so grand wearing wings
Do you tape them to your shoulders just to sing
Can you fly
I heard you can! Can you fly
Like an eagle doin' your hunting from the sky
I followed with the sideshows to another town
And I found you in a trailer on the camping grounds
You were betting on some lover, you were shaking up the dice
And I thought I saw you cheating once or twice, once or twice
I heard your bid once or twice
Were you wondering was the gamble worth the price
Pack it in
I heard you did! Pack it in
Was it hard to fold a hand you knew could win
So lately you've been hiding, it was somewhere in the news
And I'm still at these races with my ticket stubs and my blues
And a voice calls out the numbers, and it sometimes mentions mine
And I feel like I've been working overtime, overtime
I've lost my fire overtime
Always playin' one more hand for one more dime
Slowin' down
I'm gettin' tired! Slowin' down
And I envy you the values that you've found
'Cause I'm midway down the midway
Slowin' down
Joni Mitchell - Raised On Robbery
He was sitting in the lounge of the Empire Hotel
He was drinking for diversion
He was thinking for himself
A little money riding on the Maple Leafs
Along comes a lady in lacy sleeves
She says let me sit down
You know, drinkin' alone's a shame
It's a shame it's a crying shame
Look at those jokers
Glued to that damn hockey game
Hey honey-you've got lots of cash
Bring us round a bottle
And we'll have some laughs
Gin's what I'm drinking
I was raised on robbery
I'm a pretty good cook
I'm sitting on my groceries
Come up to my kitchen
I'll show you my best recipe
I try and I try but I can't save a cent
I'm up after midnight cooking
Trying to make my rent
I'm rough but I'm pleasin'
I was raised on robbery
We had a little money once
They were pushing through a four lane highway
Government gave us three thousand dollars
You should have seen it fly away
First he bought a '57 Biscayne
He put it in the ditch
He drunk up all the rest
That son of a *****
His blood's bad whiskey
I was raised on robbery
You know you ain't bad looking
I like the way you hold your drinks
Come home with me honey
I ain't asking for no full length mink
Hey, where you going
Don't go yet
Your glass ain't empty and we just met
You're mean when your loaded
I was raised on robbery
ha-HAH!

i think one of my favorite love songs
just happened to be released the year of my birth
done by many singers over the years.
but my favorite version always the righteous brothers
Unchained Melody
Oh, my love, my darling,
I've hungered for your touch
a long, lonely time.
Time goes by so slowly,
and time can do so much.
Are you still mine?
I need your love.
I need your love.
God speed your love to me.
Lonely rivers flow
to the sea, to the sea,
to the open arms of the sea.
Lonely rivers sigh,
wait for me, wait for me.
I'll be coming home,
wait for me.
Oh, my love, my darling,
I've hungered for your touch
a long lonely time.
Time, goes by so slowly,
and time can do so much.
Are you still mine?
I need your love.
I need your love.
God speed your love
to me.
Lonely rivers flow,
to the sea, to the sea,
to the open arms of the sea.
All alone I gaze
at the stars, at the stars
dreaming of my love far away.
Oh, my love, my darling,
I've hungered for your touch
a long, lonely time.
Time goes by, so slowly,
and time can do so much.
Are you still mine?
I need your love.
I need your love.
God speed your love,
to me.

JUST MY IMAGINATION
Each day through my window
I watch her as she passes by.
I say to myself, you're such a lucky guy.
To have a girl like her
is truly a dream come true.
Out of all the fellas in the world
she belongs to you.
Just my imagination
runnin' away with me
Just my imagination
runnin' away with me
Soon we'll be married and raise a family.
A cozy, little home out in the country with two children maybe three.
I tell you I can visualize it all.
This couldn't be a dream, for too real it all seems.
Just my imagination
runnin' away with me
Just my imagination
runnin' away with me
Every night on my knees I pray
Dear Lord, hear my plee
Don't ever let another take her love from me or I will surely die
Her love is heavenly
when her arms enfold me
I hear a tender rhapsody
But in reality
She doesn't even know me
Just my imagination
runnin' away with me
Just my imagination
runnin' away with me
I never met her but I can't forget her, ooo yea, yea, yea, yea

MY GIRL
I've got sunshine on a cloudy day
When it's cold outside
I've got the month of May
I guess you'll say
What can make me feel this way
My girl my girl
Talkin' 'bout my girl
I've got so much honey
The bees envy me
I've got a sweeter song
Than the birds in the tree
Well I guess you say
What can make me feel this way
My girl My girl
Talkin' 'bout my girl
Yeah Yeah
I don't need no money
Fortune or fame
I've got all the riches Baby
One man can claim
Well I guess you say
What can make me feel this way
It's my girl
Talkin' 'bout my girl
I've got sunshine on a cloudy day
With my girl, I even got the month of May
My girl
Talkin' 'bout my girl
Talkin' 'bout
Talkin' 'bout
My girl My Girl

THE WAY YOU DO THE THINGS YOU DO
You've got a smile so bright
You know, you could've been a candle
I'm holding you so tight
You know, you could've been a handle
The way you swept me off my feet
You know, you could've been a broom
The way you smell so sweet
You know, you could've been some perfume
Well, you could've been anything
That you wanted to and I can tell
The way you do the things you do
(The way you do the things you do,
The way you do the things you do)
As pretty as you are
You know, you could've been a flower
If good looks can cause a minute
You know that you could be an hour
The way you stole my heart
You know, you could've been a cool crook
And baby, you're so smart
You know, you could've been a schoolbook
Well, you could've been anything
That you wanted to and I can tell
The way you do the things you do
(The way you do the things you do,
The way you do the things you do)
You made my life so rich
You know, you could've been some money
And baby, you're so sweet
You know, you could've been some honey
Well, you could've been anything
That you wanted to and I can tell
The way you do the things you do
(The way you do the things you do)
You really swept me off my feet
(The way you do the things you do)
You made my life complete
(The way you do the things you do)
You made my life so bright
(The way you do the things you do)
You make me feel all right...

Baby Love
Ooh baby love, my baby love
I need you, oh how I need you
But all you do is treat me bad
Break my heart and leave me sad
Tell me, what did I do wrong
To make you stay away so long
'Cause baby love, my baby love
Been missing ya, miss kissing ya
Instead of breaking up
Let's do some kissing and making up
Don't throw our love away
In my arms why don't you stay
Need ya, need ya
Baby love, ooh, baby love
Baby love, my baby love
Why must we seperate, my love
All of my whole life through
I never loved no one but you
Why you do me like you do
I get this need
Ooh, ooh, need to hold you
Once again, my love
Feel your warm embrace, my love
Don't throw our love away
Please don't do me this way
Not happy like I used to be
Loneliness has got the best of me
My love, my baby love
I need you, oh how I need you
Why you do me like you do
After I've been true to you
So deep in love with you
Baby, baby, ooh 'til it's hurtin' me
'Til it's hurtin' me
Ooh, baby love
Don't throw our love away
Don't throw our love away
-------------------------------------------------------------------------
I Hear A Symphony
You've given me a true love
and every day I thank you love
For a feeling that's so new
So inviting, so exciting
Whenever you're near
I hear a symphony
A tender melody
Pulling me closer
Closer to your arms
Then suddenly, I hear a symphony
Ooh, your lips are touching mine
A feeling so divine
'Till I leave the past behind
I'm lost in a world
Made for you and me
Whenever you're near
I hear a symphony
Play sweet and tenderly
Every time your lips meet mine now baby
Baby, baby
You bring much joy within
Don't let this feeling end
Let it go on and on and on
Now baby, baby
Those tears that seem my eyes
I cry not for myself
But for those who never felt the joy we felt
Whenever you're near
I hear a symphony
Each time you speak to me
I hear a tender rap so dy of love now
Baby, baby
As you stand holding me
Whispering how much you care
A thousand violins fill the air
Now baby, baby
Don't let this moment end
Keep standing close to me
Ooh, so close to me, baby, baby
Baby, baby
I hear a symphony
A tender melody
--------------------------------------------------------------------
Love Is Here And Now You're Gone
Love is here and
Oh, my darling, now you're gone
Love is here and
Oh, my darling, now, now you're gone
You persuaded me to love you
And I did
But instead of tenderness
I found heartache instead
Into your arms I felt
So unaware of the loneliness
That was waiting there
You close the door to your heart
And you turned the key, locked your love away from me
Love is here and
Oh, my darling, now you're gone
You made me love you
And oh, my darling, now you're gone
You said loving you
Would make life beautiful
With each passing day
But as soon as love
Came into my heart
You turned and you walked, just walked away
You stripped me of my dreams
You gave me faith, then took my hope
Look at me now
Look at me
See what loving you has done to me
Look at my face
See how cryin' has left it's trace
After you made me all your own
Then you left me all alone
You made your words sound so sweet
Knowing that your love I couldn't keep
My heart cries out for your touch
But you're not there
And the lonely cry fades in the air
Love is here and
Oh, my darling, now you're gone
Love is here and
Oh, my darling, now you're gone
You made me love you
Oh, my darling
Now you're gone
You made me love you
Oh, my darling
Now you're gone

Hurrican ~ Bob Dylan
Pistol shots ring out in the barroom night
Enter Patty Valentine from the upper hall.
She sees the bartender in a pool of blood,
Cries out, "My God, they killed them all!"
Here comes the story of the Hurricane,
The man the authorities came to blame
For somethin' that he never done.
Put in a prison cell, but one time he could-a been
The champion of the world.
Three bodies lyin' there does Patty see
And another man named Bello, movin' around mysteriously.
"I didn't do it," he says, and he throws up his hands
"I was only robbin' the register, I hope you understand.
I saw them leavin'," he says, and he stops
"One of us had better call up the cops."
And so Patty calls the cops
And they arrive on the scene with their red lights flashin'
In the hot New Jersey night.
Meanwhile, far away in another part of town
Rubin Carter and a couple of friends are drivin' around.
Number one contender for the middleweight crown
Had no idea what kinda **** was about to go down
When a cop pulled him over to the side of the road
Just like the time before and the time before that.
In Paterson that's just the way things go.
If you're black you might as well not show up on the street
'Less you wanna draw the heat.
Alfred Bello had a partner and he had a rap for the cops.
Him and Arthur Dexter Bradley were just out prowlin' around
He said, "I saw two men runnin' out, they looked like middleweights
They jumped into a white car with out-of-state plates."
And Miss Patty Valentine just nodded her head.
Cop said, "Wait a minute, boys, this one's not dead"
So they took him to the infirmary
And though this man could hardly see
They told him that he could identify the guilty men.
Four in the mornin' and they haul Rubin in,
Take him to the hospital and they bring him upstairs.
The wounded man looks up through his one dyin' eye
Says, "Wha'd you bring him in here for? He ain't the guy!"
Yes, here's the story of the Hurricane,
The man the authorities came to blame
For somethin' that he never done.
Put in a prison cell, but one time he could-a been
The champion of the world.
Four months later, the ghettos are in flame,
Rubin's in South America, fightin' for his name
While Arthur Dexter Bradley's still in the robbery game
And the cops are puttin' the screws to him, lookin' for somebody to blame.
"Remember that murder that happened in a bar?"
"Remember you said you saw the getaway car?"
"You think you'd like to play ball with the law?"
"Think it might-a been that fighter that you saw runnin' that night?"
"Don't forget that you are white."
Arthur Dexter Bradley said, "I'm really not sure."
Cops said, "A poor boy like you could use a break
We got you for the motel job and we're talkin' to your friend Bello
Now you don't wanta have to go back to jail, be a nice fellow.
You'll be doin' society a favor.
That sonofa***** is brave and gettin' braver.
We want to put his ass in stir
We want to pin this triple murder on him
He ain't no Gentleman Jim."
Rubin could take a man out with just one punch
But he never did like to talk about it all that much.
It's my work, he'd say, and I do it for pay
And when it's over I'd just as soon go on my way
Up to some paradise
Where the trout streams flow and the air is nice
And ride a horse along a trail.
But then they took him to the jail house
Where they try to turn a man into a mouse.
All of Rubin's cards were marked in advance
The trial was a pig-circus, he never had a chance.
The judge made Rubin's witnesses drunkards from the slums
To the white folks who watched he was a revolutionary bum
And to the black folks he was just a crazy nigger.
No one doubted that he pulled the trigger.
And though they could not produce the gun,
The D.A. said he was the one who did the deed
And the all-white jury agreed.
Rubin Carter was falsely tried.
The crime was murder "one," guess who testified?
Bello and Bradley and they both baldly lied
And the newspapers, they all went along for the ride.
How can the life of such a man
Be in the palm of some fool's hand?
To see him obviously framed
Couldn't help but make me feel ashamed to live in a land
Where justice is a game.
Now all the criminals in their coats and their ties
Are free to drink martinis and watch the sun rise
While Rubin sits like Buddha in a ten-foot cell
An innocent man in a living hell.
That's the story of the Hurricane,
But it won't be over till they clear his name
And give him back the time he's done.
Put in a prison cell, but one time he could-a been
The champion of the world.

Trouble In Shangri-La
Stevie Nicks / Trouble In Shangri-La
I remember him, he was very young
No one spoke like him, he was someone
And I carried on, like I couldn't stop
All of it for us baby
And you, you got in my way
Stood between me and my friends
It was my sin, it was my shame
You were unconscious to the pain I was in
Chorus:
I hear there's trouble in Shangri-La
I run through the grass
I run over the stones
Down to the sea
Show me the way back, honey
I hear there's trouble in Shangri-La
I run through the grass
I run over the stones
Show me the way back...to the sea
With honor be it spoken
To understand this light that we carry
And let it light your way
Of course, you know, I generally take it
Well I make accommodations for you
And consider this
You used to be my love
I make excuses for you
(Chorus)
You can consume all the beauty in the room, baby
I know you can, I've seen you do it
And it brings up the wind
And it rises around you in pillars of color
But the promise has been broken
As you walk through the shadow of death
You try to see no evil
But you are heartbroken
You say, dear God, make it stop!
Before the dawn of separation
Brings up the wind
Rises around you
I hear there's trouble in Shangri-La
Pillars of color
Trouble in Shangri-La
I make accommodations for you
I guess we don't believe
That things could go that far
We all believe in people...
That we think believe in God
Somewhere in the night...
Someone feels the pain
The ones who walk away
Try to love again...
(Chorus)
You can consume all the beauty in the room, baby
Because you are so heartbroken
You can consume all the beauty in the room, baby
Before the dawn of separation
You can consume all the beauty in the room, baby
Show me the way back

Do That To Me One More Time
-Captain and Tennille
Do that to me one more time
Once is never enough
with a man like you
Do that to me one more time
I can never get enough
of a man like you
Whoa-oh-oh,
kiss me like you just did
Oh, baby, do that to me once again
Pass that by me one more time
Once is never enough for my heart to hear
Whoa-oh-oh,
tell it to me one more time
I can never hear enough
while I got 'ya near
Whoa-oh-oh,
say those words again that you just did
Oh, baby tell it to me once again
Do that to me one more time
Once is never enough
with a man like you
Whoa-oh-oh,
do that to me one more time
I can never get enough
of a man like you
Whoa-oh-oh,
kiss me like you just did
Oh, baby do that to me once again
Whoa-oh-oh, baby,
do that to me once again
Whoa-oh-ho-oh-oh-oh, baby,
do that to me one more time
(Do it again)
One more time
(Do it again)
One more time
(Do it again)
One more time
(Do it again)
One more time
Fade
(Do it again)
One more time

REM - Everybody Hurts
When your day is long
And the night, the night is yours alone
When you're sure you've had enough
Of this life, well hang on.
Don't let yourself go
Cos everybody cries
And everybody hurts sometimes.
Sometimes everything is wrong
Now it's time to sing along
When your day is night alone
if you feel like letting go
When you think you've had too much of this life, well hang on.
Cos everybody hurts
Take comfort in your friends.
Everybody hurts
Don't throw your hand, oh, no.
Don't throw your hand
If you feel like you're alone, no, no, no, you are not alone
If you're on your own in this life
And the days and nights are long,
When you think you've had too much of this life to hang on
Well, everybody hurts
Sometimes, everybody cries
And everybody hurts sometimes.
And everybody hurts sometimes
So, hold on, hold on.
Hold on
Fleetwood Mac - Go Your Own Way
Loving you
Isn't the right thing to do
How can I ever change things
That I feel
If I could
Maybe I'd give you my world
How can I
When you won't take it from me
You can go your own way
Go your own wayYou an call it
Another lonely day
You can go your own way
Go your own way
Tell me why
Everything turned around
Packing up
Shacking up is all you wanna do
If I could
Baby I'd give you my world Open up
Everything's waiting for you
You can go your own way
Go your own way
You can call it
Another lonely day
You can go your own way
go your own way
