Anyway, the meet was great! we had a wonderful dinner at the Hula Hut, followed by some delicious amy's ice cream. There were some interesting pictures taken, and a lot of great conversation! I hope we can all get together again soon, next time including Ramo, Wraith, and Lefty. We should maybe even consider letting Slowwhand come

Ok, you got me on that one.

I guess since there are some gays who accept the queen label because that is part of their personality, it's ok to apply that to the ENTIRE group of people.

Then no one would object to white people calling blacks n**gers, since there are some blacks who joke with other blacks using the word n**ger.

I will also let you know when I find a website that has some good, stereotypical jokes about Asians. stay tuned

If you notice i did point out "but that is just me"

I have always felt that the use of the word of queer by gays, or niger by blacks is not only acceptable but encouraged. By making the world a regular part of our vocabulary, it takes the power away from the people that would use the word for harmful reasons. "you freakin queer!" "why yes I am thank you". (sorry I have been drinking, so I am sorry if did now explain that like i meant to).

But again, this is only MY opinion

First off Mr. Fun..........well....your no fun at all. You had to take some off handed comment I made and turn it into a pour pitiful me don't include me in the being a queen thing? Starchild and I go way back and as for red_jon we don't go quite so far back but I don't see either one of them complaining. If you want to turn this into a gay rights crusade do it somewhere else. I have family memebers who are gay and many friends who are and frankly you're just a bit to trite for my liking!

Yes there were lots of pictures taken and since I ran the camera I didn't have to be in to many of them.......except for the one that Kaak snuck up on me while I was eating ice cream!! I'm sure that one is going to be way to scary to print! I should be able to post them this afternoon or by the latest tomorrow. We all had a blast and got into a really good discussion about God and creation. You know us Apolytoners......always up for a good debate!! Even got one of Kaak feeding Blackwidow........really now.......shouldn't it be the other way around? I always thought spiders ate their prey

Tiamat, I could not help how I initially felt about DinoDoc's statement. It was not your statement that I got upset about.

Sometimes, the way society tolerates jokes about homosexuals in ways they would never tolerate jokes about race minority groups makes me angry. I just thought it was a joke made of distaste and ignorance.
